Can't wait to go back!

We had a great experience; the hosts are great. Rental is clean and well stocked. You can't beat the view from the deck. Local area has a lot to offer. Perfect to soak up the beach and local restaurant's. We hope to stay again next time we visit.

The view was amazing! The unit is large and very accommodating for the two of us. Beach chairs, an umbrella, a wagon and towels, though limited, were what we needed for the beach.The kitchen is also large and ready for whatever you need. The only drawback, which we have addressed with the owner was the uncomfortable nature of the mattress in the master.

Best views of the lagoon

The house is very spacious and has all the amenities that a family needs. It is a 5 min walk to the beach and has a great view of the water. You can even catch the sunset from the balcony. The communication with the host was great too.

Beautiful property in a perfect location. The views from the living room and master bedroom are breathtaking. We even spotted a few dolphins! Beach is within walking distance, as well as a number of dining options. Clearwater, St. Pete’s and Tampa are all within reasonable driving distance (30-45 mins). Overall, great experience, highly recommend.

Relaxing Stay, Fantastic View in Indian Shores

Our family enjoyed this condo in Indian Shores. The condo was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed being able to use the beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. The beach at Indian Shores can’t be beat! We also loved the view from the condo’s balcony along with the pool. This was a great spot for a family beach trip.

After SOHO vacation

We would come back. Good location farther from Gulf Blvd so less noise but still a short walk to the Beach. Property pool is well maintained.

Another awesome stay at Gulf Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Indian Shores very much! As always, it felt like our "home away from home". Until next time, we will miss seeing sunrises from bed and the dolphins swimming past as we enjoy our morning coffee on the pier! Amazing view and great location

We loved our stay at this condo! It was extremely clean, and it was perfect for our beach trip with kids. We really appreciated that the host had so many things there that we could use (that we didn’t have to pack), including a beach wagon, coolers, beach toys, floats, pool noodles, chairs, and more. It was only a five minute walk to the beach. Amazing view. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Clean and Convenient

Very pleased with our decision to stay here in Indian Shores. This vacation home is exceptionally clean and convenient to all the sites and restaurants. If we come to Indian Shores again we would definitely choose this home. Darryl was very quick to respond when we had one very minor issue with the TV when we arrived.

Home away from home

We have been coming to Gulf Retreat for years. The property is clean, quiet, just what we need when we are on vacation. Breakfast on the balcony. We watch the dolphins in the intracoastal waterway and the boats. Eat at our favorite restaurants (found a cute little bakery just down the road), just relax. Darryl & Isabel are amazing hosts!

Easter Break Trip

Walked in and was in awe with the views from the windows. Everything we needed for our stay. Lovely welcoming basket. Perfect accommodations for our family of 5. Everything was neat and working. Loved the secure garage. Just wished my daughter didn’t tear her ACL in a soccer match two nights before our trip. Luckily the beach access had an available handicapped parking spot.

Thanksgiving getaway!

This is the most beautiful condo we have ever rented. It was elegant inside with a spectacular view! The location was perfect and we enjoyed the local restaurants. We spent 5 lovely, quiet, peaceful nights here, and on two of the nights our 9 and 10 year old grandchildren stayed with us. They were equally impressed with this property! It is only 20 minutes from our son's house so we hope to return often! Many thanks to Darryl and Isabel for making us feel so welcome and so comfortable!

Family Vacations

This condo was absolutely amazing. We woke up daily to manatees, dolphins, and beautiful birds in the bay. We watched boats go by daily. The short walk to the beach was great. All the beach toys, chairs, and coolers were great. Thank you so much for the sweet gift basket when we arrived. Our family enjoyed it so much. Also the condo felt so much like home we cannot wait to go back!!

Great Place to Stay in Indian Shores, FL

I stayed here with my son (18) and daughter (12) for 6 nights to start off our summer vacation. The condo is on the top floor so there is a great view of the waterway from the balcony. We saw dolphins two days during our stay. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. If you're staying here with your family and children for a week, I'd say bring an extra trash bag and dishwasher pod (only 1 of each was provided). The area of Indian Shores is beautiful and a short drive to larger crowds in Clearwater. We would definitely return.

Great Condo in Indian Shores

Great condo right across from the beach with a water view. Quiet place and plenty of space inside. Loved the views from the living room and master bedroom. Could use a few upgrades but overall a wonderful stay and would stay again. Having the use of a garage was amazing and appreciated the beach gear. Hosts were very communicative and easy to get in touch with.

Wonderful gem in the heart of Indian Shores

We spent a week in the Indian Shores. We love the area, it is so nice and quiet. No traffic, no rush, the community is very laid back. The beach is beautiful, not too crowded, with white sand and shallow waters. Our condo was as described, spacious, clean, with a lot of extra perks for a wonderful stay. There was a gift basket when we arrived with few food staples, which was a nice touch as well. Overall I can give it a 5 stars rating.

Look no further than this place if your looking for the absolute perfect place to stay.

We rented this for our 20th anniversary and were pleasantly surprise at how perfect it was. From the comfy bed, supply of extra towels to everything you need in kitchen. Beach is a short walk away and the pool is great. We spent everynight sitting on thr back porch. Darryl was very easy to get in touch. We give this a very strong A+ 5 star rating. We are already talking about when we can come again

Great Condo

The condo is in a great location for a relaxing vacation with lovely views of the intercoastal waterway. There is a nice pool area which was never busy with plenty of loungers and chairs. The owners also provide some beach items and a cart. The provision of the welcome basket and personalised greeting card was a nice touch. If you're looking for nightlife this may not be the place for you, however if you want a well presented, well provisioned condo in a location where you can chill this is ideal. This was our first time in Indian Shores, and we would definitely stay here again.
