"Bed sheets and towels did not feel clean with hair from prior use all over it. As soon as we entered there were 2 roaches. At night it was worse. We barely got any sleep as we were nervous about the bugs. In the morning we found one in our bag. We quickly grabbed our stuff and moved everything to the car. We had 2 nights booked, but we ran away after the 1st night a horrible rest. We were visiting Cumberland island that day. We were very tired due to bad sleep and before the ferry took us there...

"The hotel was beautiful, more than what I expected. Room was very clean and we had enough towels for my husband and I. Hot tub was so good after a whole dat at the beach. I will love for the hotel to offer breakfast as part of the amenities."

"My stay at the Hampton Inn was very nice. I was only there for 24 hours, but within those 24 hours, I was helped a lot, my questions were answered, and no one had an attitude. I also received points for my Hilton rewards. The beach was literally behind my hotel if I am going back to Jekyll Island, this is where I’m staying again."

"Overall, the outside property was beautiful with great Ocean views and quick access to the beach. Enjoyed the restaurant and the pool. Our room however was sub standard and everything about it needed updating and restoring. Our shower and tub had serious problems. The grounds were very good but the building needs a refresh or a renovation."

"I booked a deluxe villa, king bed with an ocean view. When we got into our room there were a couple of major issues with it. I found out at the front desk of the Omni that the units are individually owned and that they only managed them. This unit was not acceptable and I asked if they could move us to another room with a king bed and ocean view like I booked. This was the first time I have ever asked for another room and my husband and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. The supervisor at the desk was very nice and gave us another room in the same building (second away from the Omni resort) and a couple floors higher with a king bed and ocean view and a bigger unit that had just been upgraded last year. It turns out it was a suite! After we got into the new room everything was wonderful and we enjoyed the beach, pool and other amenities of the Omni. All the staff at the Omni were outstanding! One note, at the Villas you may not get everything that the resort fee is suppose to provide like bottled water in the room. However, you can always grab some at the resort."
