"Great location, a brief walk to town. We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen. It was very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Orkney was great, every one was friendly and helpful."

"The Albert was an excellent place to stay for 3 days while we went around Okkney Islands. Our room was huge and a view of the ocean! The only possible drawback was parking can be a challenge! But doable."

Cosy, modern ground floor flat in central Kirkwall
10/10 Excellent
"An excellent base for exploring beautiful Orkney. The flat is attractive, comfortable and well equipped, and is in a great location for shopping, restaurants, and places of interest - and also for getting to the bus stationt if you plan to use public transport to get around (we did). Checking in and out was hassle-free. If you have mobility restrictions, I'd contact the (helpful) host before booking as the front doorstep is high and slightly hard to balance on. I was able to step over it though, despite being rather old and small, and maybe a ramp could be used."
