"So very sad to say this, my sons and I lived in Drurys all over Missouri off and on for years while we looked for a home to live in. Have not been back in a long time because we found a home in Branson. When we checked in lastvweek, the female staff was amazing...incredible and so sweet. We went to an event and when we got back we were locked out of our rooms. Went down to the desk, and the young boy down there definitely did not want to be working... would not look me in the eye, couldn't really explain anything. He called his manager on his phone. They apparently accused us of having a dog in our room. For one thing the Drury is a dog Hotel. I know that because we lived there with dogs for years. But to accuse us of having one right then and there and locking us out of our rooms was bizarre. A few days later I realized that they put some kind of charge on my account for having a pet. Even though I cleared this up with that young boy that wouldn't make eye contact. Long story short extremely disappointed in the Drury. This never would have happened in the past. Very sad to see it go downhill like this..."

"The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the overall guest experience was disappointing. When I arrived, there was no soap in the shower. During my stay, trash was not picked up and towels were not exchanged. In fact, whenever I needed fresh towels or additional toilet paper, I had to go to the front desk and get them myself. Several amenities that influenced my decision to stay here were unavailable. The arcade and swimming pool were both closed, which was especially disappointing since I was traveling with my children. Another major inconvenience was the parking validation process. Every time I left the parking garage during the week, I had to return to the front desk to have my parking validated again. The only exception was on Saturday and Sunday. This became frustrating and time-consuming throughout the stay. I also requested a late checkout and was told that was not available. The staff members I interacted with were polite, but between the missing room supplies, lack of housekeeping service, closed amenities, inability to obtain a late checkout, and the repeated parking validation requirement, the overall experience fell short of expectations and did not provide the level of convenience I expected for the price."

"We ate at the restaurant inside the lobby. It was good food and (probably) appropriately priced. We had two burgers and three beers for $63. The room we were in was a double queen. The bathroom could use some updating, but everything worked. The climate control was less than desirable and very difficult to figure out - not setting the temps, but getting the fan to run at the correct speed and interval. Press once and it takes 30 seconds to register. Then, the thermostat is mounted on front of the unit, causing short run times because the thermostat got too cold and shut it down. 30 seconds later, it would kick back on. After it finally cooled down, we were able to sleep fairly well."
