Clark Brick House w/ Pool - Historic St. Charles

  • The Clark Brick House is a spacious (2700 sq/ft), modern, and fun place for your visit to St. Charles. The house offers two living rooms( one upstairs, one downstairs), 3 full bedrooms (queen beds) and 3 full bathrooms as well as three pull out sofas. The bathroom on the main level has a walk-in shower. The dining room accommodates 8, and house provides a large kitchen with oven and two dishwashers are available to support in home cooking. The Clark Brick house is 2 blocks from N. Main Street which is a historic mile-1/2 cobblestone stretch of shopping and restaurants. The St. Charles Trolley comes by the house Friday through Sunday. It provides a tour and shuttle service to Main Street and the “Streets of St. Charles”. The house has access to streaming services, & free wifi. You will love the 3 bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The pool, while small allows you to relax and stay cool as the weather heats up. We have built a 5-star reputation on both VRBO and take great pride in providing an exceptional home away vacation experience. The Clark Brick House is perfect if you're visiting St. Charles for a convention, a wedding, a festival, or visiting some of the local attractions. The home is ideal for 6 guests but can sleep an additional 3 people on 3 sofa beds. Lastly, we are very accommodating to your special requests (within reason of course), so if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us directly. Additional note, home is professionally cleaned before each stay.

Host communicated very well and was very helpful. With the one way street it’s kind of confusing but the directions are very clear so that made getting to the place easy. Clark house charm!

I was very impressed with how clean and well stocked the house was. Nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings . The historic district of St. Charles boasts old world charm and the house is right in the heart of it all.. Rooms/spaces were large and the layout allowed for plenty of space for our group to spread out. The owner was very responsive and check-in was a breeze.

Perfect if you want to be close to Main St!

Overall, the property was great for a long weekend with 2 other couples. Plenty of space and privacy. Well equipped. Great location, if you intend to spend time in downtown St. Charles. Host was super easy to work with and quick to respond to all questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Wedding weekend

The location provided easy access to Main St for dining and shopping. Space was great for our family and the wedding party to get ready. Lots of room to hang out and everyone had their own bathroom. Family reunion!

We were in St. Charles for a family reunion. The Clark Street house was a great location for my brothers, their wives and my husband and I. We had nice air conditioned spaces for visiting but with the dining room, upstairs living room and downstairs living room, each couple had quiet spaces to enjoy as we unwound from the bigger cousins' reunion. And we enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating, too! The walk to and from Historic Main Street and Riverfront Park was a perfect distance.

Fantastic Place for Friends

Our stay at the Clark Brick House was perfect. There was plenty of room to spread out and the patio and pool area were a nice spot to relax and spend time together. We had the best pool weather, so we gathered there in the afternoon on many days. The house was very well-stocked in all rooms - kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. We were able to easily prepare meals and snacks, and then had a large dining area to enjoy them. When we wanted to go out, Main Street St. Charles was only a few blocks away. We shopped, dined, and had drinks throughout our stay. Dylan was a great host. I would definitely recommend this house and look forward to returning in the future.
