The house was very nice. We had plenty of room and the check out process was easy! The bedrooms were upstairs and the stairs were rather steep. Both bathrooms were great!

Great location in downtown St. Louis. Located close to a beautiful park and The Hill neighborhood with delicious Italian restaurants and easy drives to the St. Louis Zoo, Budweiser Brewery,the Botanical Gardens and the Arch. Comfortable beds and large open kitchen and dining room area where we could hang out and play games. On street parking wasn’t an issue.

House was super clean and in good repair. Kitchen was nicely stocked with almost anything you might need to cook a meal. Fenced in backyard was an added bonus as we had 2 dogs with us. Host was super responsive and corrected a forgotten item within minutes! Highly recommend this property and would stay again!

Awesome stay!

We stayed here with a group of friends while in town for a conference. It was a perfect location, and everything was so nice! The host was very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect location!

Great property! It is in the perfect location to get anywhere in St. Louis quickly. The kitchen is huge, it has nice outdoor space and everything was just like the pictures. Great to be next to the Hill for great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

St. Louis Wedding

We were in town for a family wedding and the location provided easy access to all of the wedding activities. Andrew was a great communicator and responded quickly to all of our inquires. The house was clean and comfortable! Make sure to explore The Hill and experience the wonderful Italian cuisine. We would definitely stay at the "Beautiful 4 bedroom Home by the Hill" again.

Great for our get together

We were looking for a central location to meet up with family, and this location worked. We also wanted to catch up, play some games, and have some decent meals without having to get back in the car and drive, this place checked all those boxes. There are a number of restaurants, delis, donuts shops, etc... all within a short walk.

Excellent stay in St. Louis

The property is in a great location in The Hill neighborhood. Very central to many attractions. We visited the zoo, City Museum, Union Station, the Arch, and Forrest Park. All were very easy drives from this property. I think the longest drive was 10 minutes.Highly recommended, I would stay here again!

Great Location

We picked the Southwest Garden rental due to its easy access to downtown and other areas we were going to visit. We were pleasantly surprised by its proximity to the Italian neighborhood, The Hill. Walkable area that opened up a number of options for dining, coffee, etc. The owner was easy to work with and responsive.

Weekend with Mom & Sisters

We had a great stay for our weekend together. Our host was helpful, accommodating and quick to respond.After the first night everyone was so impressed with how comfortable the mattresses were and how quiet it was inside the house. This location was great for us. We went to the Botanical Gardens, enjoyed authentic Italian pizza, had a wonderful meal at a Mexican restaurant that was only a few blocks away. There is lots to do in this area-near the garden district and the Hill-and it is close to the interstate.We are hoping to return for another fun time together!

Big house near The Hill

This house was nice and comfortable enough for our long weekend stay. I did reach out to the owner with a few suggestions for improvements, lamps and area rugs in the bedrooms, and hooks for towels in the bathrooms. He was amenable to that. If he makes those changes, I would say this property could be a 5.

This property worked well for our family. It’s on a one-way street on the edge of The Hill. The master bed was more comfortable than I expected to be in rental houses. The host communicated very quickly.

Central To Everything

Andrew was a great owner to work with. The place is great. We were in town for a wedding so way better to have space, amenities, etc. instead of over-priced hotels in the area. I cannot imagine how we would have travelled with our 18-month old grandchild if we had used a tiny hotel room.

Perfect!

Older home that has been nicely restored with a privacy fenced back yard. Convenient location to Busch Stadium. Second floor laundry was helpful. Great italian restaurants nearby. More space than we needed but I had to find last minute accomodations when our concert was rescheduled. The host was very accomodating!

Great location

House had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Had to buy pods but store is super close. Beds were all comfortable as well as soft sheets. Walk to The Hill for a meal and take pics. It’s gorgeous. Parking was easy as the house is at the end of the street so it’s very user friendly. Owner was extremely responsive as well as fast to respond.

Excellent location

This property fit our needs perfectly. It was located within biking distance of all the gateway cup races. It was very clean and had all the essentials. I would love to see extra towels provided but we did have one for every person. For reference one of the bedrooms is a “walk through” to another bedroom and contains the washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable. We had no difficulty with street parking.

Well taken care of

We are most impressed with the attentiveness of the owner, but during registration and during our stay. We placed one call for supplies, and another for repair of the air conditioning and both were answered/fixed within hours. Most appreciated! The house is well-located (walking distance from Favazza's!), well supplied, clean, and comfortable. It was built in 1910 so the bathrooms are small and stairs steep, which corresponds with its charm. We quite enjoyed our stay and working with Andrew.

Location and proximity to the Hill and Tower Grove park is excellent. Terrific deck. Carpet is in bad shape throughout. Ice maker didn’t work. Upstairs shower didn’t work. Cypher lock on front door didn’t work. Owner was quickly responsive to communications.

Great location

Pros: Walking distance to several restaurants and easy drive to main attractions and grocery store. House had ample space for our family. Cons: Upstairs bathroom has two doors one connecting to master bedroom and the other in the hall. There isn't a lock on the master bedroom side so anyone who is in the bathroom could open the master bedroom door. Additional towels and toilet paper would have been nice considering the amount of people and length of stay. Silverware was included but the forks were tiny.

Perfect location

We were in town for a family wedding, it fit our needs. We like the location easy to get around for sight seeing and close to wedding venue.Safe neighborhood, easy available parking. The stairs could be challenging the anyone with impaired mobility they’re somewhat steep and a bit rickety. It’s an older home. Nice yard and porch. The twin bedrooms connect through one of the bedrooms and there is a washer and dryer in the bedroom that leads to the second twin room. It fit our needs as we wanted 4 bedrooms and 4 beds. I didn’t realize the twin bedrooms were connect, one is very small but it’s same as listed. Beds were comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were perfect.The main living space is roomy and comfortable. The Main Street off the side street house is on, can sound busy in the morning. Pleasant neighborhood. Host was great and very responsive.
