Great location

We loved the Hawks nest villa, it was tucked away but minutes from town, loved making breakfast and eating on the patio every morning and enjoying the view! We loved the location because we never rent a car and we could walk to all the local bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

We were snowed in (flight cancelled) and this villa was available for the 2 days we needed! Cute little place across from St John Inn, really close to town, very walkable. Its an older building. I would have given 5 stars but we didn’t have enough washcloths to go around (4 people) and it was hard figuring out how to shut off the bathtub faucets ( they kept spinning around). But it was clean and comfortable and met our needs

We had an amazing time in St. John and the villa was a perfect fit. Just the right amount of space and having the beach chairs and other amenities was very helpful! We loved how close we were to do many restaurants and how walkable it was. Will definitely return!

Lacked important touches

Information about the area was in an unmarked binder that we didn't find out about until 3rd day. Coffee pot was VERY small. Should have supplied some basic food and drink for when we arrived. Area around house wasn't great (car lot) and mornings were pretty noisy. Host was easy to contact the first two days and then didn't return my call when I asked why the TV didn't work. Overall, below average host.

Could not get ahold of owner for check-in or get responses to pre-stay questions, but overall the unit is well equipped and suitable for a short stay on STJ. Unit could use some freshening up to include increased water pressure!
