This unit has a nicely furnished living room, fully equipped kitchen with Stovetop - no oven, complete with microwave, blender, coffee maker, dishware and utensils. The property was conveniently located and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a great stay on the island. We really appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler for day trips. I would stay here again.

Great overall experience. We liked everything about our stay. Unit was inviting, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Michele was attentive and made us feel like we had a friend we could turn to on the island. Terrace was nice for relaxing outdoors. Location was a close walk to town yet more peaceful.

Island bliss

The Villa was very nice with just a short walk to Cruz Bay. Jackie was amazing and accommodating. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax and take in the island this place is perfect.

A St.John getaway

Cute property!!The pictures don't do the place justice and needs to be updated. We had a lovely time. A quick walk down to Cruz Bay. Decent views. Had a lovely time and would definitely book again.

Jackie and Michelle were great communicaters. I was emailed all kinds of ideas such as jeep rentals, restaurants, shops and anything else you need for vacation. It was a great location with an easy walk into town and a not-so-easy walk back due to the hill. It is a very quiet area. The only sound is the occasional car or truck riding by. We loved the fact that they provided chairs,cooler and beach towels.

Walkable, Relaxing, and Close to Everything!

We spent 10 incredible days at this rental and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Cruz Bay, where we enjoyed great restaurants, shops, and easy access to water activities like snorkeling and boat tours. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were responsive and helpful with local tips. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the best of St. John without needing a car every day!

Perfect location

Perfect location 5 min walk to town with a slight uphill walk back to the villa. The place was clean, and everything we needed with a surprise of brand new couches and love seats when we got there. Jackie a awesome and communicates everything.we don’t spent much time in the villa other than sleep so this place worked out great!

Great location! Jackie was awesome. Lost power twice for under 2 hours. Needs another ac unit to cool kitchen and living room. Nice new and comfy furniture in living room. Large smart television! Good place overall.

Overall, it was fine. The front gate and a lamp never got fixed, and the furniture in the picture is not the furniture in the apartment. It is a good location and a short walk to town. It was adequate for what we wanted.

June Stay

We ended up being upgraded to the Casa Blanca which is upstairs and has a private pool. It was wonderful. Only issue was the neighbor was adding a room or building on and they worked until 9:00 some nights. Probably because of the 86 degree weather.

Close to cruz and comfortable

Visiting St John for the beaches and the Beach to Beach swim event. This unit was close to town, quiet and we enjoyed ourselves. I wanted a week of open water swimming and relaxation and we found a nice place to stay. We decided to not rent a car becausee st john relativly small island with lotsmof taxis/safari trucks. For most this doesnt work and i am sure next time we will rent a car. But no regrets. If you arent up for a little 10 min walk up the hill get a car. Unit met allnour needs and manager was fantastic.

Perfect location

The property is just up the hill from Cruz Bay, far enough away that you do not hear the bar crowds at night, but not so far as to need/want a car/taxi even after having a large meal with several drinks. The property is small but has two full bathrooms, A/C, towels for the beach and bathrooms, pots, pans, 25oz. drip coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, ice cube trays, cooking range, but no oven. King-size bed, a couch, two reclining chairs around the television, a four-person kitchen table, satellite TV, and reliable, wireless internet. The property manager was friendly, and prompt with replies and warned us the evening before a several-hour-long pending, island-wide power outage. 10/10, would recommend.

Our stay at Blue Marlin in February 2025 was very good. The king size bed was very comfortable. It was great to have to have two bathrooms in this small unit. The laundry set up was very convenient (shared with one other unit). The kitchen and bbq were both very well equipped. The unit supplied beach chairs and beach coolers, and we used those on our beach trips.We had some issues on our first day (key sticking in the front door, TV remote not working and damaged front gate), but Jackie very promptly corrected them. We appreciated the very quick service. We spent lots of time just looking at the water from the kitchen windows and from the private front porch. Overall,if we visited St. John again, we would stay again.

Blue Marlin

Blue Marlin provided what we were looking for: a clean home base from which to explore the island, kitchen facilities to prepare meals, proximity to the town and transportation. The property management team were quite organized and helpful, and communication was prompt and clear. They met us at the ferry, gave us a brief orientation to the town and delivered us to the unit. Livingroom furniture is much more comfortable than the bamboo set shown. It's a 2 bath unit (not 1 as shown). The newer bath (shown) is lovely; the master bath (not shown) was clean but needs updating. We also felt the steps from the bedroom area (not seen in the pictures) were hazardous in the dark of night; a plug-in night might help. Over all, we enjoyed our stay at Blue Marlin.

Jackie and Michelle did a very nice job of communicating with us prior to our trip to St. John. The villa was very clean upon our arrival and they had a lot of information for us when we arrived. A few of the taxi numbers need to be updated. We did enjoy the fact that the villa was within walking distance to the Cruz Bay downtown area. However, it is an uphill walk to return back to the villa. We enjoyed having a washing machine and dryer to use during our stay as well which was available at no charge! We were very appreciative of them picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry on arrival and departure days. The island did have one power outage and their generator was able to handle the situation so we didn’t notice a problem at all! We look forward to staying at the Blue Marlin again if we decide to return to St. John! I am enclosing a picture and my face doesn’t look very happy because we are having to leave paradise.

We had a great stay at Blue Marlin . The unit was as described . Jackie was a pleasure to work with and even helped us out when we couldn’t find a taxi the last day to the ferry. Blue Marlin was clean and has 2 full bathrooms. You can walk into town, which was a huge plus. Just be prepared to walk up a hill, but it isn’t that bad. We would rent again

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Marlin. You always had to be cognizant of the steps inside the property, particularly when getting up at night. Dealings with the host were always straightforward. We would definitely rent again, but most likely the upstairs property which we took a look at while we were there.

Quirky place up on a hill. "Easy Walk to beach" not all that easy. Clean, pretty well equipped and is close to town. Jackie, the property manager, was superfantastic in communicating, meeting us at the dock and checking us in.
