"Perfect location for a few days touring local plantations. Beautiful well kept grounds with so many shaded sitting areas tucked away to relax and enjoy the property. My cottage was roomy, well appointed, comfortable and as a solo female traveler I felt safe. I am so glad I opted to stay here for my 3 nights in this area - it made for the perfect trip. A full breakfast each morning in addition to a great restaurant on property - so convenient for long days of sightseeing. One criticism breakfast cafe staff could be a little more friendly / helpful. Same experience each morning. Outside of that I experienced nothing but excellent service on property."

"This is a very comfortable place to stay. The night I was there, it was exceptionally quiet. The bed was comfortable, too. The carpet felt clammy but was clean (I know because the bottoms of my feet were not dirty.) The bathroom trashcan had not been checked and that is why I left a 4 star because of what was in it. Other than that, it was a clean room. I would stay again and for a longer stay. My overnight in the area was last minute. The staff was friendly."
