Perfect stay
5 star stay. Communication was very quick. The house was well stocked. The owners thought of everything for a relaxing visit to St Ignace. The location was very convenient to the docks to board a ferry to Mackinac Island. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra linens if needed. The WiFi was strong. We appreciated the special items left for us. We would definitely stay again.

I apologize, I went to the house to clean and both tanks were full. The gas was off however. If anyone ever thinks the propane is our just drop me a message and I'll get you a new tank.

Great Location With Special Touches
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The house is conveniently located to multiple must-see attractions! We loved walking to downtown to eat and shop. There are so many day trips you can plan from this central location. We loved the goodies that the owners left for our arrival! Such a sweet touch! Plus all the other supplies they supply for the guests. Our children really enjoyed the toys. :)

Enjoyed our stay
We booked this house for one of the busiest weekends of the year: St. Ignace Classic Car Show. We were very impressed with cleanliness and sanitary condition of the house. It was spotless! Had family over for food on the grill and enjoyed the backyard. The host left us a bottle of wine which we enjoyed sitting around the firepit on a chilly evening. Thank you to our host. Very comfortable home.....

Such a Gem!!
This house is very close to the shore and the ferry docks, was so perfect for our little group. The owner was so thoughtful and thought of everything, right down to little treats for my grandson and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. The property is clean and very well maintained, all the amenities right down to board games travel manuals, there is a firepit on the back deck with plenty of seating. the furniture was comfortable and the beds were great. I highly recommend this property and the owner, and if I get a chance to come back to St. Ignace, I hope this property is available again. Food delivery from the local BC Pizza was fast and the pizza was great too! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and stay!

Short trip to St Ignace
This home is ideal for our family while visiting St Ignace. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The home is clean and well stocked. This was our third stay at this property and once again, we found it to be a great home away from home.

A perfect get away!
We were looking to get away for a few days to unwind. This place was perfect! The location was close to everything, easy to find, but still quiet enough to be relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was handy and easy to find. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing your rental!

UP Winter Birding Getaway

Good UP hideaway
Decided to have a long weekend getaway to see the fall leaves and see the UP since I hadn't been there since I was a kid. Great location to avoid all the tourist traps/traffic and yet be close to the sites. Perfect last weekend at Mackinac Island for Trick or Treat, last weekend for Pictured Rock cruise and even caught the locks and "root beer" falls. Greg was quick to respond to all questions and quickly refunded the pet cleaning fee after we choose not to bring our dog last minute. Bed is a bit hard but everything else was as advertised.

A great place in a convenient location.
We just got back from our wonderful trip. The house is easy to find and convenient to St. Ignace, Mackinaw City and Sault Ste. Marie. Greg is a wonderful host and answered all of my questions. We had a few problems with the house but Greg was responsive to my issues and helped resolve them. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was close to everything we wanted to do: ferry to Mackinac island, Castle Rock overlook and trailhead to NCT trail, and the bridge to Mackinaw City. The house was warm and cozy and had all that we needed.

Great time in St Ignace
We just finished our second stay at this location. We have family in the area and visit often. This is a great property that is centrally located, is very well furnished and super comfortable for us to use as a base of operations for our family functions and activities. We will be back again!

Excellent accommodations
The property was very conveniently located and easy to find. It is near everything in the quaint small town of St. Ignus. We tried two of the local restaurants and both had the most friendly and welcoming staff. Our experience at this rental was excellent from beginning to end. The owner provided us with all the information we needed. The house was as advertised. We especially enjoyed the back porch and yard. It was very relaxing after a busy day at Mackinac Island. The ferry boats were just blocks from the house. We could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you Greg .

Cozy place, good location
Host was quick to respond and graciously let us check in early. The house was nice and warm which was comforting after the snow storm this weekend in the western UP. The host left a bottle of wine which I’ve never seen before. We enjoyed that for sure! There were tons of extra blankets if needed, to keep cozy. They allowed our pet which means the world to us. Only issues I had: The coffee pot was not cleaned (it had moldy grounds left in the basket and the carafe had dried coffee all over it). Lots of cobwebs in corners.

So happy you enjoyed your stay. I want to apologize for the coffee pot. It obviously was overlooked when the home was cleaned. I want you and future guests to know that steps have been taken to make sure this does not happen again. Also told the cleaners to always check for cob webs when cleaning!

Another perfect stay…
This property is exactly what we were looking for. My brothers and I go up north every year to have some fun and reconnect. It wouldn’t be possible without a great place to stay. Everything is exactly as advertised and we never have to guess at what we are getting. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic location and comfortable home!
We had a fantastic stay in St. Ignace. The house is very nice and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 4 plus a nice yard. So nice to have a kitchen when traveling and they have a brand new washer and dryer. Greg was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The location is perfect. St. Ignace has a nice park and beach along the Lake and several convenient restaurants. We took the ferry to Mackinac Island, drove up to Pictured Rocks, and went to Whitefish Point. Highly recommend this property - it seems much nicer than other options in St. Ignace.

First UP vacation
Owner were very helpful. It was our first time in the area and they answered our questions and gave a great summary of places to go in the area. We did not spend a lot of time in the house, we mostly sleep and ate breakfast. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did have one day of rain, it was nice having a whole house to spread out in and not worry about being stuck in a hotel room. Having a yard for the kids and a fire pit was also very nice. We were able to eat outside, roast marshmallows and throw a football around, the kids loved it.

Great place for a week snowmobiling getaway

Great stay, better than expected!
We need to book a stay in St Ignace near a house getting remodeled, so not a typical vacation but we enjoyed the stay. This house is close to everything, yet on a quiet street. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing! The kitchen had everything we need. There were cable and apple tv. I would definitely stay here again. A++++

Great Hunting Getaway
The home was well suited for five adults and the kitchen was awesome for meal prep. Amenities were available within the house. The owner was gracious and accommodating. Very grateful as we plan to rent again next year.

It is always nice when your expectations are met by reality. This property was exactly as advertised. The owners made you feel welcome with their preparation of the proptery. Close to every thing
For the most part we enjoyed our visit there were 3 things that kept us from having an exceptional experience. 1. There is only a window air conditioner in the living room, the bedrooms were very hot. 2. The internet never worked. 3. The front step is a good 2 feet and very unsafe especially for small children and older adults. The house was nice, beds comfortable and the shower was great. We would stay again just not in July or August.

This is the first time we have had someone complain about the air conditioning in the home. It is stated in our listing what is in the home for air conditioning. There are also fans in each room. As for internet Charter was having a few issues that week with internet due to thunder storms rolling through the area. The modem probably needed to be reset, however I did not know that. A quick message to me and I could have fixed the internet right away. I will take you front stair comment into consideration and I am currently making plans to fix that situation. I hope you still had a nice stay and hope you will consider us again if you come north again.
