Welcome to Chickadee Cabin, a cozy Northwoods retreat located at Fath’s Big Woods Resort in scenic St. Germain, Wisconsin. This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin is ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking to enjoy a classic up-north getaway in a peaceful lakefront setting.

The cabin features a comfortable layout with a king bed in the primary bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom, offering flexible sleeping arrangements. A standout feature is the large 3-season porch, perfect for morning coffee, evening relaxation, or gathering after a day of outdoor fun. Outside, guests will love the spacious, open, and level lawn, ideal for family games, cookouts, and spending time together outdoors.

All cottages at the resort offer beautiful views of Big St. Germain Lake, a stunning 1,600-acre lake known for exceptional fishing, including muskie, walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish. Guests enjoy access to one dock space, making it easy to bring a boat or spend the day on the water. A shared lakeside firepit is perfect for evening campfires, while kayaks and a row boat are available for exploring the lake at a relaxed pace. Lake Content and Fawn Lake are also accessible from Big St. Germain Lake, allowing for extended boating and exploration

This destination is perfect year-round. Spring is a favorite for anglers looking to enjoy excellent fishing. Summer brings swimming, campfires, cookouts, volleyball games, and classic family fun. Fall offers a quieter, relaxing escape with brilliant fall colors, local craft shows, and festive pumpkins and scarecrows throughout the area. Winter transforms the region into a snowy playground, with Bo-Boen snowmobile trails right outside your door, along with nearby cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and downhill ski hills just a short drive away.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the new St. Germain bike trail just steps from the cabin, making it easy to ride or walk all the way to Boulder Junction and beyond. Miles of paved biking and hiking trails are right outside your door. Golfers can enjoy the St. Germain Golf Course, located just half a mile away, along with five additional golf courses in the area. Tennis courts, grocery stores, shopping, and excellent local supper clubs are all conveniently nearby.

Dock details: Docks are first come first serve for parking, there can only be 1 boat from this cabin being docked.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
