We had a great time in St. Germain. The original post had a canoe and paddle boat, unfortunately they were not available. As the listing states it is a “cozy” cabin but very clean and well furnished, kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, slept great!
The Utube tv needs an app update and bathroom sink drains slowly.
I am curious is the unit next to Fish Inn available to rent?
This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing. Fabulous quilt store nearby.
First time in St Germane setting, cabin and our host were fantastic can’t wait to return for a longer stay Sandy & Gerry were the best hosts we’ve ever had enjoyed meeting them wonderful couple cabin was perfect
Renting this place was a last trip for my husband and I before the arrival of our first child. We were able to not only enjoy the north woods scenery but the fishing off the pier was fantastic, and the mini golf in town was amazing. Hosts were very sweet and we cannot wait to come back again in the future!
We were super impressed with the cleanliness of the property when we first arrived. It was obvious the cabin had been renovated and the property owners took time to make sure that all the amenities were thought of to make sure our stay was comfortable. We've already booked the property for next summer!

We enjoyed our stay. A cute cabin. The cabin adjoins another cabin which we didn’t expect (maybe we missed that in the listing). It worked out fine as the other property was unoccupied during our stay, but I think it would have been too close otherwise. We loved the screened porch and fire pit as they made the small cabin feel larger. There was a little sawdust left from some electrical work and the windows could use a cleaning, but otherwise cleanliness was fine. The small kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. Everything was easy to find. We loved the fall colors and fantastic bike trails in the area!
The cabin was set up for all minor details covered. Everything you would normally stock at home was available. We had a worry -free week, full of near-by activities.
Do not book. Very misleading. Arrived and did not stay 5 minutes. Host would not even refund our service or cleaning fees! Again. DO NOT BOOK

Goose poop
The cabin was cozy, beds were a little small but its decoraded cute. I would have given a 5 star rating even though we had a issue getting into the cottage. The reason for my 3 star and i almost gave a 1 star was because the dock we supposed to use was covered in goose poop. Its was disgusting and we couldnt even walk to the end of the dock and we were worried about it getting in our boat. The property manager even told us she had been there the morning we checked in and they didnt clean it. My husband ended up having to use his fishing net to clean it off where we parked out boat. Was SO gross!!!!!!

This is an amazing little cabin - loved the decor and it was very comfortable with all the modern conveniences.
This property is quaint.easy access to boat launch. The cabin is divided like a duplex. This cabin is VERY SMALL, best accommodations for 2 people and possibly 1 small child . There is only 2 pieces of furniture to sit on. The kitchen window is part of the other sides screened in porch. The owners are very nice people ..the breezeway is nice. I think the pictures are very deceiving..it looks much bigger then it is. Like I said there were 4 of us and with 2 bedrooms one had to sleep on the recliner the whole week.bedrooms are very small and you have to basically turn sideways to get around the bed. Along with your suitcases made it very challenging. Like I said it's quaint . But definitely not worth it for the amount if money one spends. I think there should be better clarifications and original pictures not altered pictures ..we where not informed of that it was basically a duplex with owners living next to you..although there were wonderful ...it really didn't work for us the way we expected
We loved our week at the Fish Inn on Lost Lake. The cabin is rustic & cozy with a well stocked remodeled kitchen and comfortable beds. The cabin is part of a duplex in a community of lake cottages. At the time of our visit the owners were occupying the other part of the duplex, which we enjoyed because they went above & beyond to make sure we felt at home.
The lake is a short walk down a path & has a little sand beach. The water is shallow at the beach and stays @3ft well past the dock. The bottom is sandy with few weeds. We rented a boat to swim & fish away from the dock but could easily enjoy the lake without it.
We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch & it was the perfect place for a day of board games on a rainy afternoon.
We saw tons a wildlife- mostly deer & bald eagles. Fishing was slow but it was hot & there was a lot of boat/jet ski activity on the lake.

Completely distress.
By the time we went to bed on the first night, all of our stresses had dissipated. The cabin is very comfortable. It was an excellent home base for exploring the area. We took a day and stayed around the cabin and fished from the dock. We each caught fish. It was fun and relaxing.
Sandy was excellent. She knows the area and was helpful with all of our questions.
We have already booked a return trip.
