Howl at the Sea - SGI

  • Come Howl at the Sea in one of the original SGI beach bungalows. Super Pet Friendly. Steps to the beach w the access path right off the back boardwalk. Rooftop deck with dining table, lounge chairs, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and even a glimpse of the ocean. Less than a mile from restaurants, lighthouse, shopping and groceries. Ground level house so no climbing stairs. Two full bedrooms plus a daybed. One and a half bathrooms plus great private outside shower and rinse off shower station. Screened in back porch with couch, chairs and TV. Ample closet space for dog crates, pack n play or whatever you’re bringing to the beach. Also included are a gas grill, fish cleaning table, HEPA ionizing air filters in each room, filtered kitchen water and ice, and washer/dryer.

    Pets are not just welcome but encouraged. Backyard is huge, fully fenced and even comes with a doggy pool. So, everyone gets to play. More than two dogs will be considered on a case-by-case basis. For the adults we have ping pong, giant Jenga, Connect four, cornhole and more.

    Kitchen comes fully equipped plus slow cooker, toaster, coffee maker and blender.Come stay and play at Howl at the Sea!

The house is really nice, the screened in room w/TV was great. Loved the upper deck with gulf view. Lounges and chairs everywhere in the awesome yard, great for us and the dog. Short walk to the beach, would highly recommend the place for a family with a few kids.

My wife and I had a great stay at Howl at the Sea! The house was perfect, and had everything we needed. It was great to have such a short, easy walk to the beach. Our little pup really enjoyed having a nice backyard to go outside and explore. Wonderful trip and will book again when we need a wonderful place for just the two of us.

The house had all the amenities you need. A huge fenced backyard which was beautifully landscaped w lots of palm trees. Perfect for our dogs! The inside was so clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the screened in sunroom which was comfy and airy. One of the best parts was the super convenient location just a few minutes to walk to the beach.

This place is amazing!

This is the perfect beach house! The house was decorated beautifully and immaculate, but my favorite thing was the back yard. It was like a private little paradise with comfortable seating, a hammock, ping pong table and corn hole. You can walk or bike to everything. Cant wait to stay here again!

Great long weekend

My wife, our adult son and I (plus 2 dogs) very much enjoyed our recent stay at Howl at the Sea. It is a neat old school Florida beach house that has been updated beautifully. The owners (Chuck and Christina) have thought of everything you could need and are very responsive. The outside fenced area is a unique on SGI and great for dogs. We especially liked the screened back porch for shade in the day and the upstairs deck/seating area for coffee in the morning and relaxing in the cool of the evening. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Howl at the Sea was delightful. The place was clean and so attentively decorated. You can tell the hosts put a lot of time and love into the place. Speaking of the hosts, they were wonderful. They made it easy for us to check in and out. They were always kind and responded quickly to all of our questions. Great water pressure in the shower. The outside space was also really great.

We rented the house for a beach wedding we were attending. The size of the house and the updates were great. We especially appreciated the water filter in the kitchen and on the shower. We felt clean after showering, not like we showered in the ocean. It is the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The kitchen was well appointed. I cooked every night and had everything I needed. We loved the backyard. It was huge for a beach house. Our dogs had a blast running around. And I loved all the plants. If we come back to SGI, we would rent this house again.

Above and Beyond

Although the photos were lovely, they did not do this house justice. Deceptively small by street view, we had TONS of room, even when we had 3 additional family members spend the night. The owners were AMAZING to work with and extremely helpful and accommodating. We will absolutely be back to Howl at ghe Moon, as will my daughter and her friends and family. Howling Great Time

Chuck and Christina has a great little place on SGI for family and friends(furry ones too). The property can sleep up to 8 with 2 bedrooms. Great amenities for family fun indoors and outdoors. Has ample of indoor space with 4 tvs, tons of board games, and a super cool spacious fenced in beach oriented backyard. Outside one can sit and watch tv in the fan cooled outdoor screen in patio, tan it up upstairs on the sun patio and/or beach it up in their spacious sand filled backyard where you can grill, play beach games, hang out by fire pit, chill out under the umbrella tables or take a nap in the hammock under the shady palm trees. Just a 2 minute walk to the ocean, this beach retreat will have you “howling” to return again soon. Thanks C&C for your communication before, during and after our stay. When we return again to SGI, we will definitely stay again at Howl at the Sea.
