Convenient location
Steep stairs are difficult to negotiate. Bumped my head on the low entrance…yes, I read the sign.

I'm sorry about the low entrance. At 5'1" it doesn't impact me, however that is why I always message our guests ahead of time about the second entrance. It is a much better option for taller folks.

Nice little spot
Very conveniently located. The space was small, but we knew that going in, and the space was set up well. There was a minor inaccuracy in that the description indicated that the door would have a deadbolt, but it did not. All told we were very pleased with it.

Perfect weekend get away
Apt was in perfect location. Easy walking access to train and town. No car needed. I was a little worried about the double bed for two people but it was one of the most comfortable beds we have stayed in while traveling. Would definitely reteurn.

What a great apartment to stay in! There was everything and anything you could need for your stay, and it was very clean and comfortable. We were bicycling and did not have a vehicle and there were plenty of stores, restaurants and breweries within walking distance - convenient location. There was also a safe spot to store our bikes. Lisa is a great host, and we would highly recommend staying here when in St. Albans.

the location was very convenient for me, the price is fair, the price is appropriate, the place is very clean. the host was helpful. the bed is comfortable. It is a basement apartment with a laundry room that is used at all hours on the other side of the bedroom wall.

Feels Like Home
This was my second time staying in 19A and it was as comfy and cozy as I remembered. I really appreciate all the extra touches that make staying there a treat. This is my go to place now for any trips to VT for special occasions.

Perfect little spot
The apartment was spotless and absolutely perfect for a night’s stay. i would easily come for a weekend. it is fully stocked and the location is great. parking was super easy too, and there are 2 spots. Lisa the host was also very communicative and let me check in early because i was headed to a wedding and needed time to get ready. she let me know as soon as the apartment was ready which she really didn’t need to do and it was no extra charge. i’m really happy i stayed here.

Cute, Comfortable and Great Location
The unit had everything we needed. It was nice to have a comfy bed and a separate cozy sitting area as well as a kitchenette. Yes, the stairs were a little awkward to step down into the unit, but there is a separate door that made it a little easier to bring luggage through, plus we loved having parking right in front. Easy location for walking to shops and dining. The host was super nice, responsive and was very helpful. We were happy to have a stay there!

Very clean ok for one night . Bed was super uncomfortable, stairs into unit are like a ladder so steep and low hanging I am 5”4 and banged my head bad . In a basement so musty smelling .

Fantastic stay and apartment. Its within walking distance of lots of great shops and restaurants within St. Albans. My only gripe was the entrance as I’m 6ft 2’ but using the 2nd entrance is just as easy and accommodating. We actually decided to stay another day and Lisa made the process super easy for us and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed in this basement unit this past weekend. We are buying a home in the area. The location is great! It is very close to shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Quaint apt, close to local shopping
Quaint apt in city was spacious and adequate for two adults. It was close to town shops, the museum, and the farmers market with a great variety of items - from foods to wine to maple syrup products, and many hand made treasures including scarves, wooden bowls, and goats milk soaps. Perfect gifts to take home.

Pros-well equipped. Cute and well decorated great use of space. Cons- not for those over 6ft. VERY loud if you are a light sleeper you can hear every step the upstairs neighbor makes.

Wonderful, quaint, and just what I needed
I came up to Vermont for a job relocation, and I found this wonderful little place in Saint Albans that provided me just what I needed. The apartment was super cozy and in such a wonderful town. The host was very responsive to any questions I had, such as telling me the perfect place to watch the sunset. 10/10 recommend.

Very clean and comfortable.
First off the pictures posted make it look dark and claustrophobic almost but In real life it's pretty bright. Everything was very clean, bed was comfortable as were the pillows/sheets. Everything seemed new including the towels. Was super comfortable and far more expensive than the local hotels. It was around 1f each night and I never felt cold while there even in just a t-shirt and shorts. Will be back!

5 star week!
Perfect rental for our 8 day experience! Located in the heart of downtown St. Albans, close to shops and restaurants, makes this rental a 5 star location! Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great amenities such as Netflix, coffee, laundry access, and onsite parking. Very affordable! Highly recommend!

It was a quick, clean, and easy place to rest our heads for the night. It's a little far from the train station, 10-15min, down some back streets, but was glad to have any place to stay that night with everything else being sold out. Bed was a little small, full not queen, but if take the smaller bed with how clean and stocked with some necessities this place was.

In town for a wedding. The space was clean. Love the Young Living touches. Parking was great. Awkward entrance into the space. Would love to see a darker curtain over the window as it shines right into the bedroom in the morning (after a wedding you don’t want to get up too early). All in all 5 stars.

St. Albans Retreat
This charming apartment is only minutes from downtown but in a residential setting. I could walk to the museum, Taylor Park, and all the shops and restaurants on Main St. I love having a full kitchen when I travel. It is well appointed and the owner had provided little extras like chocolate, coffee and teas. It will definitely be my home away from home when I am in Vermont! Oh, and PS, there is a coin operated washer and dryer down the hall (outside the apartment) which was an added bonus when you like to travel light!

Very nicely appointed and comfortable place to stay!
I was pleasantly supposed by the extras that I was not expecting, like some snacks, coffee and iced tea mix. Also, the towels were amazing as was the quilt on the bed. The owner is this property took time to provide quality furnishing, sheets, towels and everything else. Also, the center of town has many unique and delicious food options. Lake Champlain is close by as well.

It’s a very cute little apartment that’s nicely furnished with a new bathroom and a nice little kitchen. My only two issues were there was a bit of an odd smell in the main room (but NOT in the bedroom and bathroom) and the entrance is awkward. It’s a basement/ground floor apartment and you got to stoop pretty low to clear the entry way. But the apartment itself was perfect for one person and the property owner was easy to reach and was very nice. There was a hiccup on my arrival and it was handled immediately. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and it’s a very nice little place.

Price, once the fees were added, was a little high for what one was getting. Basement apartment with some daylight but not a lot - window-washing would help. On the other hand, the apartment is well-organized and modest and met my needs, thank you, overall it was a very well-located, practical, comfortable choice!
