It was Different very cabinish clean comfortable bed ! The internet two complaints I have if you turned on the electric space heater it blew the fuse every time after the 5th time gave up! it was cold 42 outside so! And the exit to outside was thru the bathroom so if somebody was in the bathroom you could not go in or out !
We arrived at this location looking forward to a nice stay in a rustic spot near the national parks. When we arrived we entered the unit and were surprised to find out that the front door drops you right into the bathroom. The only way in and out is through the bathroom! This is unacceptable for us traveling with our teen daughter. If anyone is using the toilet or showering everyone else is stuck either inside or outside waiting for them to finish. We proceeded in to the rest of the unit while mulling that over and were hit with an odor in the bedroom that we determined was coming from the mattress. There was a big pile of trash behind the main house including a mattress - not exactly a nice view from the front of the unit. I texted the owner of the property explaining that we couldn’t stay in the unit due to the above reasons and requesting a refund. No response. We ended up staying in a hotel in Fresno for more money and farther from the National Parks. I would not recommend for anyone to book this unit/host. I have stayed in many places booked through Expedia and/or VRBO and this is the first bad experience and bad review. I waited plenty of time to see if the host of the property would respond and they have not. This is a bad place to stay and a bad unresponsive host. STAY AWAY!
Pros: 1) the room is big and clean. 2) The towels are new. 3) ac is working.
Con: The ad is misleading. 1) you don't have the 5 acres to yourself. You share the location with several other rentals. 2) you basically rent a master bedroom with separate entrance. There is no kitchen which is not obvious from description. 3) The land is barren with dry grass and few trees. 4) the shower is low pressure and temperature is hard to adjust.
Cute room with a mini fridge and freezer compartment located on a small hill. They provided an extra blanket and pillow. They text me the directions which made it very simple.
