"First the driveway to the front door was so narrow when you got out of the car you were in the snow. When you open the car door you had to push snow with the door. When you were unloading the car you were in snow.We informed them the TV showed "No Signal".The next day at 10:50 AM we texted the issue. At 10:52 AM she responded someone will be there ASAP. At 10:52 we texted no rush, we were leaving in 1/2 hour but wanted it for tonight. At 7:11 PM we texted we still show "No Signal". At 7:12 PM she responded to try unplugging the router under the table but there was nothing under the table so we unplugged everything we could and re-plugged back in with still "No Signal". At 7:21 PM we texted what we had done and still "No Signal". WE RECIEVED NO RESPONSE BACK. During the texting at 10:51 AM she asked if we could connect to the wifi? How were we texting without connection to wifi? It was obvious no one came and checked out the "No Signal" issue. The next day she texted sorry about the "No Signal". Issue 1. Snow getting out of car, unloading car, and crushed snow/ice on steps and deck since obviously someone walked up on the steps and deck in the snow and shoveled from the front door down the steps crushing snow from the shoes creating and leaving snow/ice footprints which you had to avoid. 2. No action on "No Signal" issue? What do you do at 7pm in a strange place, at night without TV and 2023 magazines? Water really stinks, coffee creamer only separated and only clumped "
Beautiful, elegant and restored Historic Lodge in Northern Minnesota.
10/10 Excellent
"It was a wonderful place to stay for winter break. The cabin is cozy with enough space to separate or be together in one room. The property in the winter is peaceful and beautiful. The host is very responsive if you need him and the cabin was clean. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need. Bring paper towels or napkins. We would stay again."
"This place is amazing, exactly what was listed. We had a great week of hunting in the area and it was great to come back to such a comfortable setting. The owner was great and very responsive. "
