"Great location in Black Mountain, easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. But still quiet and private enough, even with the other units rented part of our stay. The rental was very clean and well-stocked in the kitchen (dishes, cookware, coffee). The primary suite has a great bed - memory foam and adjustable. Other amenities - nice decor - including live plants, a huge couch in the living room and a that runs hot and strong. "

Location is a good for things in Black Mountain but a little far from other things due to the geography of the mountains. A few small concerns kept me from A 5 rating. "My husband, our dog and I spent a wonderful week at this house. The house itself is nicely laid out with lots of room in the common areas and two bedrooms (with full baths) on each floor. The views of the valley are fantastic, whatever the weather or time of day. We loved all the little touches -- the coffee/tea station, the pull-out dog gates on the porch (to insure our dog didn't go exploring for wildlife), and a shelf stocked with flashlights and bug spray for night time walks.
