The bed was comfortable, and the room was functional, but I could not connect to their WiFi. It doesn't look like it's been renovated since the 70s, it really needs a paint job. If you are looking for a cheap room thats alright its a good pick.

My wife and I stayed just one night so we did'nt have time to view the area too much. However it's very close to central Adelaide and, just up the road is an excellent, local mini-supermaket.
The apartment was quite large and well appointed. In particular, having spent some days away from such facilities, we were pleased to be able to wash, dry and iron our clothes.
Although it's clean and tidy, the apartment could be improved by a fresh lick of paint.
In short .... Franklins Apartment is ideally situated in central Adelaide, it's of a good size, it's quiet, well equipped and very comfortable.
