I didn't like that there wasn't a physical person at the front desk when I arrived. I had to talk to a man on a computer who was at home. Breakfast variety was better than other places. I wished the pool was up and running!

My family and I were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep during a break from a long drive up the coast. Best Western had the best price. We knew we were getting what we paid for. Looked recently renovated in the lobby and some of the room. Seemed very clean. Not much to the hotel though and we weren’t looking for much. A good option for a quick stop. Breakfast started late (7am) so we missed it. Staff was great.

I don’t usually complain, I’m in hospitality myself. The room didn’t have running hot water, the toilet didn’t flush half the time, the rooms are not clean. Lastly, I stayed 3 nights and children ran up and down the hallway banging on doors till 3 am. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Danielle,We are a little confused as to why we are just hearing these issues and apologize that they caused an inconvenience for you. We have recently replaced our hot water boilers which have advanced reporting and they did not show any decreases in temperature during your stay. We have also gone to look at the toilet in your room and it required a slight adjustment. We would have addressed all of these items or moved your room if you could have let us know while you were staying with us.

I must admit, I was hesitant after seeing some of the reviews, but this hotel was clean, in a safe location, and parking was easy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through.

Pros: Great breakfast. Clean room. Comfy bed & pillows (very subjective, but did fit my tastes). Friendly staff. Cons: Next to interstate and traffic was loud in our room, which was at the end of the hall closest to the highway. Online, we had chosen a room with a fridge and microwave; maybe those are closest to the highway.

All in all we had a wonderful experience. All members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One suggestion is that the paint in the rooms be touched up, if not repainted. The other, is our room had an joining room. The cable for the TV was loose and laid on top of the carpet across the entry and had a loop of excess. If someone is using both rooms, it would be a major trip hazard. Otherwise it was very nice and did what we needed; a place to sleep while we visited family in the area.

Poor customer service
We went for a family get together for the wknd and. When we checked in the room looked fine but smelled funny. We rushed put our stuff down and went to meet up with family. Came back to settle down and started to find small roaches in the bathroom and the following morning our daughter found a bigger roach in the bathroom. Went downstairs to let the front desk know what was going on. we asked for some type of compensation and a room change. She insisted that they were not going to compensate anything and only change our room. They can offer us points thru their app but what good does that do for me if i dont have the app nor care to download it for what?! I will be contacting the corporate office due to the poor service. They also gave a “goodie” bag as a peace offer which just had 2 bags of goldfish and a water! Really!! Smh! Some kind of peace offer. Another couple we met downstairs were also not happy with their stay at this location. Says alot !
