The location was perfect for a getaway from the city and connecting to nature. Close to stores in town but tucked away. Loved the quiet and serenity of the property, home was cozy with all amenities and clean linens. It was great stargazing at night and exploring the trails by the river during the early mornings. Looking forward to returning again!!
Very peaceful property - a little hot at night (no central air for us hot flashers) but windows and fans were an acceptable substitute. Kitchen was fully stocked, pets were happy in the fenced yard (frenchie) and kids adored the toys in the “kid” room. Plus, watched deer in the morning from the front porch. Great stay!

Great views, not great accommodations
Beds were uncomfortable, had to light the hit water heater after taking a cold shower, ran out of water!!! The saving grace…views and wildlife.

A real ranch house...
This is a real ranch house at the end of a 3 mile dirt road. It has sweeping vistas and the Little Colorado River runs across the property. You have amazing views from the windows including old volcano cones and the barn and horses in the valley below. If you like adventure and the outdoors, this is a great place.
Beautiful rustic property! The perfect place to get away and unplug. Situated on a working ranch yet only 4 miles from town and anything you might need. Very secluded and plenty of outdoor activities. Great stay for the family.

Great getaway
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to do it. We had a great time at the ranch cabin. Great views. The house was comfortable and everything worked properly. Sharyl is a super host that knows a lot about the area. We will definitely go there again.
We totally enjoyed the stay...the king size bed was sooo comfortable
The kitchen was stocked fairly well
Maybe add a couple of pitchers, glass baking pans and tumblers
Also kleenex!!
Beautiful spot and just far enough out of town to be totally peaceful!

Another Great Stay
Once again we had a great time at Sharyl's ranch house. This time we found a couple dozen lava balls. Some of them were near the petroglyphs. It is so quiet and peaceful there. The only sounds you hear are from animals.
Host, Sharyl, was very accommodating and provided a wealth of information about the property and the area. The cabin is very comfortable. The road to the property is gravel and a bit dusty. It was peaceful and quiet. There is a small swingset for the kids.
Great private rural get away, we loved it, some city dwellers may find it too remote.
My wife and I regularly look for places like this, rural setting on a dead end dirt road (this one is in very good condition), no city lights, no traffic noise....just quiet with countless stars above.
However we really live outside, on patios and decks. This property is begging for a front deck, the sunsets were worth the trip alone. I'll be inquiring next time if I can bring my horses and do a ride about the property. We pulled into the area a little closer to dark than we anticipated, I'm glad we found it before sunset.....like I say its a dark dead end road in the middle of the night.
Beautiful, personal location. Quiet but close to Springerville which has the necessities and some wonderful historical/heritage sites. No Wi-Fi as stated but gets a perfectly good cell signal. Host is a fountain of wonderful knowledge on the area. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Love it
Had a great time, weather was perfect, house was all we expected.
This is the second time we have stayed here.
The home met our needs very well. The communication with the owner was fantastic. She was raised on the ranch and offered many options for exploring its history. Thank you very much.
Had a great time, everything went great. Lots of elk and deer, great views, cool hiking trails near by.

Enjoy peace and serenity!
Rustic and charming, away from it all. If you are looking for a homey, comfy stay this is for you. Enjoy the uninterrupted night sky, plenty of wildlife, and plenty of area to hike and enjoy great outdoors! We loved it. If you are looking for luxury you may choose a different location, this is definitely an old school cabin with lots of charm!
If you are looking to get out of the city and enjoy the experience of living in a real working cattle ranch, this is the place. Everything you need to feel comfortable with all the character of real cowboy living. We saw herds of deer come in everyday and night that we could watch from the front window. Absolutely peaceful and a perfect escape from city life!!
Very nice secluded cabin yet close to town. Fantastic communication with property owner
Was a very enjoyable experience

Solitude!
Property location and setting allows for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Situated next to a wildlife preserve provides great opportunities for wildlife viewing.
The area was very pretty and remote yet close to town. The kitchen supplies are a bit unorganized, a drawer was broken and almost fell on my son. The TV was missing the on button. The dining chairs are very high for the table. There were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. A lot of personal items in the home. I more or less felt like I was visiting a family member, not renting a cabin.
There is a lot of area to hike around right outside the doors which was great and the horses across the road were very friendly 🙂
We really enjoyed our stay in Springerville, and the property was perfect for our needs. Thank you very much for accommodating us.
