PALM CREEK GETAWAY spring meets gulf+pool & spa

Enjoy natural spring yet only minutes kayaking to the gulf: 4BR, 3 full baths + living + dining + outdoor dining by screened & heated salt-water pool/jacuzzi + screened patios. Get away and dive into kayaking, scalloping, fishing, crabbing, biking, watching dolphins/manatees/wild lives, fire pit, in Florida sun... 5 mins drive to Weeki Wachee State Park, 7 mins drive to Pine Island, 30 mins to Homosassa, 1 hr to Tampa, 2 hrs to Disney. Close to restaurants, shopping department stores, grocery... and local restaurants!
The space
SITTINGS: Living room, Dining room, Kitchen and 3 of the 4 bedrooms overlook the canal. Dining Room sits 6, kitchen counter bar sits 4, 2nd floor patio dining sits 10, 1st floor patio sits 6-8. Outdoor patios are in screened wrap-around porch. Grill outdoor and embraces the back yard, pool area and canal. Each bedroom has an office desk.

BEDDINGS/BATHS: The Palm Creek Getaway has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, and sleeps up to 11 guests. there is a crib in one of the on the second floor bedrooms. The master suite is located on the top floor all by itself (accessible only by stairway,. It has a king bed (sleeps 2) and it has its own private full bath. . NOTE: this master suite will be locked and stay vacant if registered guests are 5 or fewer.

The 2nd master has one king bed (sleeps 2) and its attached full bath. This room is situated next to kitchen and has an upright piano for those respectful musical guests to play. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed (sleeps 2) and it has a double French door that opens up to a private outdoor sitting area by the canal over looking water and backyard. The kids bedroom is next to the 3rd bedroom and has a full-full-twin bunk bed (sleeps 5). There is one full bath between 3rd bedroom and the bunker bed. Total of 10 guests only


SECURITY CAMERAS:
Palm Creek has 5 exterior doors and up to 6 parking spaces. To protect guests and owners, all outdoor areas including pool and spa, garages, and entrance lobby area have video and audio cameras 24/7. Only the property manager Alix have access to all these cameras. 

POOL & SPA HEATING (recommended between Nov and March winter days): There is a salt-water pool next to spa. There is extra cost of $30 per night for your entire staying to add heat to your order. Please arrange at least 24 hours prior your arrival. Pool will be heated on at 78 degrees (not higher) for your entire staying. The spa will be heated at 103 degrees (not higher) when you turn it on. Heater is running on between 8am and 10pm when the pump is running.

Kayaks: There are currently 4 kayaks that sits 5 adults. Kayaks usage are free. You are responsible to leave them clean and lock them back up on racks.



Parking: Parking can be only outdoors. We have up to 6 cars that can be parked on our driveway.
Guest access
One time private code will be given to guest by noon on the arrival day and it allows guests to access the house only during their booked time period.

ADDTIONAL FEES
- Pool & Spa heating ($30/day) for your entire staying, due 48 hours prior arrival.
-The top floor will be locked when there are 5 or fewer guests. IF your guests are more than what is booked in your reservation, there will be additional $25 per guest per night fee. No more than 11 guests can be accommodated at Palm Creek.
- the first 1/4 tank (5 gallons) of propane usage. Additional propane will cost $10 per 1/4 tank.
- Guests are to keep kitchen equipment's clean to avoid extra cleaning fees.
- We charge $30/each to replace missing towels or pillows.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AT PALM CREEK
- Grill outdoor and embrace the ocean breeze and sunsets.
- Kayaking Weeki Wachee Spring Water or open bay.
- Fishing from the dock: red fish, cat fish, snapper, snook etc. There are two fishing poles in the house.
- Breakfast in screened porch, watching the wild nature from your own docks: dolphins, manatees, cranes, parrots, cormorants, osprey, eagle, ibis, seagulls, pelicans, porpoise, tweety bird, ducks, fish, sting rays, crabs…
- Burn a log at the fire pit by the gulf, toast cotton candies or hot dogs.
- Watch stars at night. Try SkyView Lite app. It is so cool.
- Take a leisurely stroll to one of the many local water-front eateries for dinner.
- Bike around the town. 2 bikes are available.
- Crabbing for blue crabs (crabbing season Oct 1 to May 1)
- Scalloping is a big trend here during July-Sept. People usually rent a boat for a day and go to sea.
- Palm Creek is tucked away in a peaceful family-friendly neighborhood with 270 degree canal access, but it is conveniently located within 10 minutes away from Winn Dixie grocery and other stores.
- Bring your boat and tie to our floating dock. Only 15 minutes to the gulf of america. Enjoy the Hernando Beach sand bar or scalloping in season.
