"The food at the Piedmont Restaurant was not good. The menu was too sophisticated for the staff to execute. The lodge rooms were updated, but not very clean. There was a bridge in the gardens with rotted wooden slats and steps, and one section of the rail was missing altogether. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"The room was clean, but had problems. The door knob on the bathroom door was loose and barely hanging on. Both faucets were so hard to turn on, I could not do it. The outside door was also hard to enter. The breakfast provided consisted of coffee, orange juice, mini muffins and bananas. That was all. I will never stay at that hotel again."

I visited the Little White House and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. The cabin itself is a sanctuary — comfortable, well-equipped, and clearly cared for by owners who understand what it means to host.I cannot recommend this property enough.
