Skopelos Town by night. Skopelos is a wonderful Greek island with an authentic feel and most certainly my favourite. Reputed to be the greenest of all the Greek islands it is covered in pine forests. It is also relatively unspoilt as it does not have an airport & is not the easiest island to get to. Like nearly all the islands however it can get busy at the height of the summer. The main town tumbles down to the harbour through a mass of narrow streets where rubbish is still collected by mule. The tavernas abound with live music & several well known Greek musicians live and/or perform regularly here.

Quiet and worth a visit.
The room was always clean and tidy. The only problem was access when i arrived. Nobody on reception but after half an hour and a few calls it was rectified.
