"When we arrived to check in it was about 11:30 pm. There was a guest at the desk arguing with the only staff person on duty. The staff person never acknowledged that I was standing there waiting, which was about 40 minutes while he was trying to prove that the guest was incorrect about his booking and something about not receiving a discount. Yes, I was made to listen to the entire conversation because I must have been completely invisible. Once the guest finally walked away, I got to check in for the room I had already pre-paid for. (Yaaay) The staff person never even apologized for my long wait, he did though thank me for my patience after he gave me the room keys and explained how comp breakfast works. The free breakfast by the way was great. Although it would have been nice to have something other than the same breakfast options for 5 days. The gym room is open 24 hours which was nice, however 2 of the elliptical machines were not working, as well as the exercise bike. The pool was ok but there were always people with their rowdy little kids in the spa, so I didn't get a chance to use it. Our room upon arrival had used glasses and coffee cups in it. Supposedly room service is every 3 days but we stayed for 5 nights and weren't offered anything. We even put the dirty glasses and cups outside of our door. They were picked up but never replenished. I normally do NOT complain, but this stay could have been so much better."

"This hotel is old and in desperate need of updates! The photos online are not accurate! Our room was quite frankly disgusting; the headboard and chair are old & cracking, nasty unwashed bed skirt, blood on the lamp shade, the other lamp shade is cracked, unwashed or pee stained sheet covering the comforter (we were able to get a clean comforter thankfully). I asked if we could be moved and was told they were full and didn’t have any other rooms available. They were also not willing to issue a refund so we could find another hotel. Very dissatisfied, I would recommend not booking with this hotel!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Centennial! The pool was the highlight for me- heated, barely anyone in it, the waterfall that doubles as a free shoulder/back massage if you hang out underneath it! The view from my East Tower balcony was amazing, looking out over the pool and the nearby dam. Slept like a baby with the noise the waterfall made. I ordered the Centennial Cheeseburger through room service and was blown away by how fat the burger was, and man, those fries were delicious!! I wasn't crazy about the shower, as being a bigger guy, the single glass panel that covered about half of the shower didn't stop a significant amount of water from getting onto the floor each time I showered, so I had to wipe up the water myself. No big deal though! The only thing that spoiled my stay there was this; The first time I went down to the pool, I wanted to leave as much as I could in my room so nothing would get stolen poolside. I left my engagement ring on the dresser under the TV (among all my other pocket contents) and only brought my clothes and a room key with me. Room service had been in while I was in the pool, took my dirty towels and cleared the trashcan... My ring was also missing though, and despite searching through all my bags and the whole room multiple times, I couldn't find it. Not making any accusations- and frankly it was a $20 Tungston Carbide ring from Amazon, so not silver or gold or anything super valuable. It did have signicant sentimental value. But... c'mon."
