Other Things to Note: While most reservations go through without a hitch, we understand that sometimes things happen. We want to offer our guests the best and most price-effective option for those incidents that we hope do not occur. We found that damage deposits can be costly, frustrating and we don't want to hold any of your hard-earned money 'just in case'. For Airbnb reservations: We do not charge a damage deposit on site because Airbnb offers AirCover. For non-Airbnb reservations: We charge a nightly fee for damage insurance in lieu of charging a damage deposit. This fee is nonrefundable and should be added to your reservation at checkout. If it is not, we will contact you to process payment for this charge. This fee pays for protection through a third-party company and covers property damage that may occur during your stay.
After booking confirmation, you have the option to purchase third-party travel insurance for up to 14 days prior to your stay. Please reach out via message if you're interested in travel insurance.
Airbnb does their own guest screening and we do ours. For non-Airbnb reservations, we use a quick and simple third party guest screening service. Please watch for this email and complete the appropriate steps. Message/call us if you encounter any problems or have questions about this service. We require non-Airbnb guests to submit documents to verify identity and perform background screening, which occurs through a third-party company to Safely. Cancellation policy applies to reservations that are cancelled due to guests not reading this requirement in the listing and not wanting to perform the background screening.
If you request check in less than 48 hours in advance, we will ask for a photo of your Identification matching the method of payment used, and meet you on site for check in to verify your reservation is for the booked guest. (Subject to change. Please message us with questions.)

Our group of 13 (ranging from 1year old to 81 years old) fit well in this house. All bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Location is a little bit on the “sketchy” side but my group never felt uneasy in the house at any time. Quiet neighborhood and centrally located.
We were in town for a family event. It was nice to have a home for much of the family to be together. If you have tall people in your party this is not the best option. Ceilings and doorways in the basement are very short.
The house was very clean and check in was easy. Nicely located to a Safeway for ease of shopping. Only negative is house sleepa14 but only seating and dinnerware for 9. But otherwise a gem
The space overall was very clean and there were plenty of bedrooms. The owner allowed us to check in a few hours early and was very easy to reach when we had trouble with the door lock. Living and kitchen areas were well stocked with all we needed for the weekend stay. Only issues we had were with the upstairs shower not draining (which we were able to eventually fix ourselves) and the mattresses on the beds. They were all fairly thin and were not very comfortable to sleep on, but they were fine for a weekend trip with only sleeping on them three nights.
House was perfect size for family of 5 couples for son's wedding with a bedroom to spare. Nice group of bedrrooms up and downstairs. Host provides complimentary bag of coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, dish soaps, laundry soap and dryer sheets!! Had a great time with family staying all together
We loved this property, it accommodated our family of 12 very comfortably. Spacious enough to allow us to spread out. Did not feel crowed. I would stay here again.
This was a great house that fit all the family with enough space and privacy that we weren’t crowded. The house was clean and looked just like the pictures in the listing.
The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and it was very clean and organized. We reached out to the host a couple times with questions and they answered the phone right away and were so nice and helpful. I would recommend this house to everyone.
We had a great stay overall! The neighborhood seemed slightly unsafe and not what we expected. Our only complaints were spiders/bugs in the basement bedrooms, not enough hot water for the amount of people it sleeps and the trash was never emptied before we arrived. Lots of flies and a bad smell.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
The size of this house was great, but the furnishings were those of a frat house, worn and in poor condition. As is often the case in older houses, if you want to keep the upstairs somewhat cool, the downstairs is an icebox.
Home had great space! A/C worked well and it was nice to be close to grocery stores etc.
One complaint is in the lack of quality in furniture...looked like a decent remodel but then went skimpy on furnishings but owner was good to work with. Would still stay here again

Overall good stay. There were some cleaning issues that could be improved. The sheets on beds looked like someone had slept in them and dirty towels left from previous renters. Host was nice about it when i communicated that too them and was taking care of it. Nice house but neighborhood is not the safes.

Disliked: Location
Spokane stay
Property was less than desirable
Locks on doors were sporadic and weren’t working when we first arrived
A/C was not sufficient to keep the house comfortable, got extremely hot. Upstairs was unbearable at times.
Blinds in the main floor bedroom was ineffective in keeping the room dark.
Bed upstairs was broken
Neighborhood was very sketchy
Hot water was no where close to handling the number of guests the house is designed for. Ran out of hot water after 2 showers every day
I selected this property for specific reasons. I needed a completely fenced backyard. It wasn’t. I had intended to bring my dog (but last minute did not) and have a severely autistic 5 year old granddaughter. The property was only 3/4 fenced making it more difficult for us. The beds/mattress are cheap and very uncomfortable. The A/C was great in the downstairs area, but not in the upper level. I had to call the property manager to come look at it. The filters were dirty and had to be replaced. This only helped slightly. I don’t know how anyone could tolerate sleeping up there during the summer months. The space was otherwise good for our needs. Please seriously consider upgrading the bedding and A/C. Also, update you listing to say partially fenced backyard.

Great location roomy liked individual sleeping areas nice, basement has low doors and ceiling so wouldn’t recommend for taller people. Kitchen had plenty of dishes limited on baking pans, stairs are steep so something to consider if you have mobility challenges. Furniture was not quality which the beds are exactly what you see in pictures hard mattress on metal. Couch and living room furniture very flimsy was hard for older people to sit in and very limited living room seating, could use benches or chair in bedrooms and a full length mirror. Neighbor across street a little nosy and complained when we parked in front of house ??? Not her house our house neighbors to the left are awesome it worked for what we needed
I was unfamiliar with Spokane but needed a house for a large group coming to town for a memorial service. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the pictures did it justice. The check-in and checkout processes were a breeze.
When there was a beep coming from a locked closet, a handyman was sent over right away to fix it.
The only downsides were that it was a really warm weekend, and although the AC was a bonus, it was still very warm upstairs and made sleeping difficult. There are no fans on the property. Also with 9 people showering there were a few cold showers taken.
Overall we were very happy with our stay!
Small Bachelor party, stayed here due to being in the middle ground of what we wanted to do.
Pros - Clean, quiet, roomy enough to spread out, liked the character of the house.
Cons - dull knives for cutting, downstairs is not ideal for tall people, everyone agreed the mattresses could be updated.
Overall it was great, simple check in/out process, no needed communication with the owner, everything worked and we all were pleased with the experience
The neighborhood seemed very safe and friendly, and the proximity to Safeway and Walgreens was extremely helpful. The general location was perfect for sightseeing downtown and for visiting relatives. Two cars could park in the driveway. Overall, it served our family very well.
Some suggestions might include a few simple tools in a toolbox in the kitchen (to tighten a few furniture screws), and a few more kitchen towels.
We stayed at the house for the holidays with extended family and it was perfect! The house is large with all of the essentials and is conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and downtown Spokane. Miranda was responsive and helpful from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again!
