"Surprisingly interesting historic downtown hotel! Loved of street parking for a fee. Room was generous size, bedding was great and morning coffee set up on 2nd floor was fine"

"I hate leaving negative reviews, but this experience was honestly really upsetting. I booked this hotel for the night before a major surgery because I needed to stay close to the hospital. Unfortunately, the environment felt extremely unsafe. There were multiple people lingering around the parking lot who appeared to be casing cars, and several guests looked visibly uncomfortable because of it. The atmosphere around the property made it feel very unsafe to stay the night. Because of this, I ended up leaving and driving all the way home instead of staying. That meant I had to turn around and drive all the way back to the hospital first thing in the morning before surgery. As a cancer patient preparing for a major procedure, the last thing I needed was additional stress and worry about safety. It was incredibly disappointing to lose $170 on a room I didn’t feel safe enough to use. I truly hope management addresses the security and safety concerns around the property so future guests don’t have the same experience."

"The rooms and property were modern, amazing and clean. Our bed was comfy and our room had a big tub and a fireplace we loved! I liked there was a coffee shop, a bar and a restaurant in the hotel, I didn’t love a $20 resort fee for 2 water bottles I would think In a hotel like that the resort fee would mean better shampoos, soaps and “room treats,” but that was the only complaint we did love the hotel and room over all and will definitely stay here again."

"The room had a strange odor to it but it was good for a one night stay and it was in walking distance to the knitting factory. Room was clean and had a nice shower. Heard some screaming and fighting during the morning."

"2 night stay. Loved the Motel and the Staff was incredible. What was HORRIBLE was the parking situation. Arrived in the evening and circled the downtown area for 30 minutes to find a parking spot and I had arranged for Valet Parking. There is just NO ONE out front to maneuver all the illegal parked cars.... every time we left to see friends/family we had to deal with this really cancer issue for this institution. Fix this we'll be back. Not planning on Returning. Too many other options... the one just across the street. Best of Luck and God Bless. :)"
