The property offered more privacy than other options, and it had a wonderful hill country charm.
Our cabin had a slight tilt to it, but we enjoyed it nonetheless!
We had a very great experience and were very pleased with everything. Everything was perfect and we did not need one thing as everything was at our availability. Looking forward to visiting again
We loved our stay and the very cute property. They had a super cute store and the vibe was great. The only thing I wish they would have mention in their post was that the bathroom is separate from the cabins. But the bathhouse is very cute and the showers are wonderful. We would stay again.
My wife and I were looking for a weekend get away. Best choice ever. Amazing stay. The host was very friendly and gave a bit of history of the property. The area offers all you need to enjoy your stay. Thank you for making it a memorable weekend.
Grounds are really well kept and maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor space where we grilled steaks, played cornhole, mini golf, viewed antique structures and just explored the property. It was close to Inks Lake state park and Longhorn Caverns which were 2 places we went to visit. HEB grocery was also close. The bathhouse showers were big and very clean. If you are looking to unwind in a great little cabin with no tv but excellent wifi than this is the place!
This was a great weekend staycation getaway! Super dog friendly with a lot of photo opportunities. Raymond is also super sweet as well! HEB is about a 15 minute drive and the bathhouse has a microwave toaster and a shared refrigerator. We were able to make fajitas using the grills outside. Overall 10/10 stay!
If anyone is looking for a great place to stay near the Texas Bronco Offroadeo, Green Acres in Spicewood is close, well maintained, and much cheaper than the Horseshoe Bay resort. It is glamping, so it may not be for everyone. The bathhouse is a short walk from all of the cabins and is very clean with great amenities. It was very nice to have other options.
My stay surpassed my expectations! This little cabin it's beautiful! Expect the unexpected. The owners thought about every little detail for you to be comfortable. What they call the main house it's a common area where the luxury restrooms are, a comfortable living room, a well equipped kitchen, plus everything you need as if you were at home. I loved the art hanging on walls everywhere, including my cabing, it gives the place a taestful feeling for sure. I went while weather still hot so not able to enjoy the outdoors much, plus I was visiting vineyards around (great ones not far away, and 40 minutes to Frederisburg), not really glamping, but I’m going to try to go back on the fall because you have it all outside, grills, campfire pits, comfortable and surprising seating areas. I'm sure this place it's very enjoyable on the fall also. The owner is very kind and showed me and my friend staying in another cabin, the property around, his animals, their special Christmas store in the entrance, which his wife runs, we also saw other cabins and RVs, and each of them is completely different, and also taestfully decorated by owners, they are just amazing inside. It was a really enjoyable stay. I highly recommend!
Such a beautiful place in such a peaceful area. Very comfortable place to enjoy the Texas outdoors and explore the local areas, and Raymond is very sweet and hospitable. Hope to visit again soon!
Raymond was a great host! Our stay was pleasant and relaxing. This was a great location for Krause Springs and we are more than satisfied with our stay!
Overall our whole stay was smooth and without any difficulties. When we check him we were greeted by the owner and he was really welcoming and nice. I highly recommend coming here
Loved that there was no TV. It was quiet, clean, and convenient. It is located away from the city but still close enough to pop into the city for entertainment. We went wine tasting (Spicewood Vineyard) and tequila tasting (Lopez Hill). Overall a great experience!
Beautiful sleeping areas. They provide everything you need for outdoor activities like barbecuing and games. They have a washer and dryer. And it is also close to Krause Springs and Hamilton Pool. Management was very nice when we stayed.
The owners and staff were awesome! They have done a great job of creating a cool spot to sit back and chill!
This would be a great spot to meet with friends.
NO RESTROOMS or TV's in cabins or R.V.'s.
They were in the process of adding that to a couple of the vintage R.V.'s, so make sure to check.
They do have a shared bath house/ group area that is really awesome.
The small touches like snacks and wine were really nice.
We were pleasantly surprised to the attention of detail. The keurig in the room, robes, extra blankets/pillows, and lush towels are just a few of the surprises. The restroom/shower facility was extremely clean and supplied everything we needed during our stay. The supply of snacks, ice, and laundry facilities were extra bonuses.
