The location was great and we enjoyed the cute cabin. Excellent view of the lake. Our only concern was that we are responsible for hand washing the dishes in the only sink in the cottage. Having dishes go through a dishwasher would have made us feel better about using them.
We had a wonderful stay at Birdseye View! The cabin was nicely decorated and clean. The view was outstanding! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The lake area is well kept and beautiful!
The views of the lake and surrounding area were beautiful and we absolutely loved Oklahoma. The room itself was okay, however, I had to kill three spiders in our room while we were there. The bed was horrible. It was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were probably at least 5 years old. There were only two pillows on the bed but fortunately, we brought our own. Also, they did not provide rags in the bathroom, only hand towels. But fortunately, I also brought a bag with me with those type of supplies.
All in all the trip was great, on an awesome lake. There were only a few things that were not great. The bed definitely needs to be updated or at least a foam mattress to make it a bit more comfortable. Something to clean up the dishes would be helpful. However again we will definitely be back, a great place to stay and Robin helped tremendously.
The only negative was that a couple of the blinds on the windows didn’t work correctly so had to “rig” a towel to cover the windows for privacy at night! Txt more than once to the office and NO ONE came to check on it during our stay! They said “feel free to text or call if you need anything“.. but it was to no avail!!
The view was great, and the woods were wonderful to walk the dogs in. Also, it is a great dog friendly place to visit. We really enjoyed that.
Now, the bed frame didnt fit the bed. The bed was bigger that the frame, and the frame was turned around, so that the head of the frame was at the bottom. The towel rack in the bathroom has fallen off, and the holes are still in the wall.
All in all, the stay was very good. The staff was very friendly also.
Some upkeep on the cottage would go a long way.

Not impressed with the accommodations...
I would like to say, for the price, we paid for a full size bed to sleep 4 people. Two parents and two children. We had numerous family members staying in cabins all well, who had much more room. One mother and son and a cabin that slept 8-10 for two people, while we got ONE bed for four people. Not impressed at all

The cottage was very clean and had the things in it that I was told would be there (coffee maker, etc
The only negative thing would be parking and getting to your cottage, rocks a little hard to traverse for my wife. And older people might have difficulty walking on rock steps and steepness of ground leading to cottage. The view was great.

Nice views - poorly executed...
First and foremost, the views of the lake are fantastic. This makes the other issues more disappointing as it comes down to execution and some simple things. 1) Mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. 2) Bedding was dirty - literally 'gritty under the sheets and between the sheets and blanket. Also had a spider visitor on our bed as well. 3) Coffee pot doesn't work. 4) Window was left open, undiscovered to us until the morning. 5) No night stand by the bed and no headboard on the bed. 6) Door won't stay shut on entrance unless the deadbolt is locked - so when sitting outside, the door was always open. 7) Bathroom pocket door defective - and latch mechanism sticks if you shut it all the way.
Lots of little things and some comfort things that made this stay less than ideal. They are cute cottages however and the views are fantastic.

Upgraded!!! Still loved it
Upon checking in we were told we were upgraded to a different cottage but needless to say this review would probably apply to any of the cottages in this location. Very peaceful. No other parties that we are aware of checked in to the neighboring cottages. It was too cold to be able to enjoy the outdoor patio and bbq, but the view was spectacular. The cottages were well equipped with many home amenities. We made most of our meals which was nice. I would like to stay here again if ever in the area or just want to get away.

Well kept and great view.
All the comforts of home and a view out of this world. Will be renting from here next time I'm in the area.
