Nature’s Rest at Cataract Falls

  • Nature’s Rest is located on the property of the Cataract Falls Lodge. An ideal getaway whether you want peace and tranquility or an adventure in the park. A one-minute walk into the park are two of the most spectacular water fall features in the Midwest. Bring your hiking boots and explore. Within a 45-minute drive of the Lodge are two state parks, McCormick's Creek and Turkey Run.

    The property is 30 minutes from DePauw University and 50 minutes from IU and Indiana State University. Other attractions include Cagle's Mill Rosevear AKA Cataract Lake and Cowpokes Arena at the C Bar C, both less than a 15-minute drive from the Lodge.

Everything about this experience was amazing. The place is spacious, beautiful, and had everything we needed. The owners put a lot of work into making it lovely and welcoming. They also were very responsive to questions along the way. Highly recommend this location and this host in general.

My stay here was very pleasant and the suite was beautiful. The hosts were very quick with replies to messages and kind. They even sent me a email with lots of information concerning whats in area, restaurants, falls, etc. I highly recommend this getaway. Would stay here again!!!

I had a fantastic time! I had one problem with the shower, but the owners were very quick to respond and fix the problem. It is WAY WORTH THE PRICE! It's probably nicer than my own house! Lol. I would recommend this area to anybody!
