This hotel was peaceful, beautiful, and with friendly staff. It is within walking distance of the whole town, but be prepared for the uphill on the way back. I would highly recommend their deluxe rooms.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. If you’re reading this, chances are you’re an American who, like me, knew little about Spello, Italy before booking. Trust me—you won’t regret staying here. While we didn’t dine at the on-site restaurant, it offers incredible views. The location is also very convenient—perched at the top of the hill, it rewards you with stunning scenery (and a bit of a workout getting there). My only small disappointment was that we requested a check-out just one hour later, since our train wasn’t leaving until later in the day, but the staff wasn’t able to accommodate—even when I offered to pay for the extra time. Still, overall, it was a truly lovely stay.

Excellent hotel with great location.

We had a suite which was HUGE with a spa and fantastic valley views. Parking on the premises if you got there first. Ample buffet breakfast. For such an expensive room there was no ironing board or kettle. Amazing.

Reported room darkening shades wouldn’t close & toilet running. Wasn’t repaired. Dinner soup was only warm, small portions for costs. Eggs cold every day at breakfast & they aren’t good at replenishing at 9 even tho more guests arriving. On checking out waited 10 min while reception on phone. Finally got off & paid bill. Didn’t have change wanted me to forget the difference. It’s a cute hotel & nice location. They need to fix things.

The views are amazing. Breakfast was great. Finding a parking space was impossible, but that's also true in everywhere in Spello. There are many stairs from the lobby to the street.

Reasonable and a good stay

It was too hot - they had some issues with the heater. The spa is 30 euros per person for 90 min usage and is not included in the cost of the hotel. Parking is 5 euros per day. Breakfast is good - the room and the location is quite good. Overall a good value for the cost but please note the spa is additional

L'hotel si trova in una posizione splendida, nella parte alta di Spello e gode di una vista panoramica eccellente. Ho trovato un bellissimo ambiente, stanze spaziose e il personale molto gentile e accogliente. Sono rimasto sorpreso positivamente.

Ho passato due stupende giornate con mia moglie dove la location ha amplificato lo spirito romantico del fine settimana. Quello che ci ha entusiasmato di più è stato il gusto e la scelta di ogni piccolo dettaglio per arredare un albergo che si sposa perfettamente con l’ambiente circostante fatta di arte e tradizione.

Een beetje jammer

Op zich was de ontvangst goed. Op de kamer gekomen meteen de airco aangezet. Echter bleek achteraf dat de airco officieel pas na 15 juni aangezet mag worden en het niet deed. Het was 3 nachten 30 graden op de kamer. Het restaurant is niet op locatie, maar een kilometer verder met de auto. Dit was een beetje jammer.

Una grande delusione

Hotel a quattro stelle all'apparenza molto bello, con interessanti servizi quali piscina all'aperto e spa nessuno dei quali fruibili...al nostro arrivo infatti la spa era in manutenzione ordinaria e la piscina esterna non utilizzabile poiché sporca. Inoltre la camera vista valle che ho prenotato si è trasformata in una camera vista strada con le finestre a livello strada e quindi molto rumorosa. La giustificazione a tutto ciò è stata che l'Hotel era appena stato riaperto.... Giustificazione inaccettabile a mio parere, soprattutto per un hotel che si vanta di essere 4 stelle... Io credo che avrebbero dovuto riaprire solo se tutto fosse stato funzionante o almeno avere l'accortezza di riportare sulla descrizione i servizi non funzionanti

Camera molto umida !!!

Camera UMIDA dovuta ad infiltrazioni di acqua provenienti sia dal soffitto che dal pavimento. Le lenzuola del letto erano umide! Terrazzino totalmente abbandonato e sporco, con erbaccia e sterpagli secchi.

Bellissima struttura, immersa nel verde, vicinissima al centro di Spello, raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. La piscina esterna dell'hotel ha un panorama meravigliosa, ma non è molto grande. Colazione ricca e di qualità. Il ristorante non l'abbiamo provato, ma ci torneremo sicuramente... Le stanze confortevoli.
