We really enjoyed our stay at Pine Lodge. It was very clean and had everything you would need. It was close enough to everything but also nice because you could get away from the crowds. Sarah was very helpful with all my questions. I would highly recommend staying here.
Absolute perfection! Great location off the beaten path for Acadia day trips. Cozy, clean and stocked with everything you need during your stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Pine Lodge for our trip to Acadia for our wedding. It was the perfect location to go back to after a few very busy days. Sarah was quick to respond to any questions and has created the perfect retreat.
This property is perfect for a relaxing stay. It is a beautiful home and well appointed. Everything was provided that we could think of except an extra blow dryer which we notice in all the VRBO rentals...when there are two bathrooms. It was OK to share though. I would recommend this property! It is close to Bar Harbor. Thank you for such a comfortable place to stay. It was our favorite on our trip!
Pine Lodge was THE perfect house for our stay on MDI. The house was spotless, well appointed and had nice, good quality kitchen equipment. It is a wonderful cabin in the woods - We didn’t want to leave and plan to rent again next year!
We really enjoy our stay here. The house is beautiful and fully stocked. We loved coming back in the evening and sitting by the fire pit. Seeing the deer and the red squirrels around the house was definitely a plus for us. We would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and loved that it was new and updated. I also appreciated the 12 cup coffee maker (not Keurig) with local, tasty coffee provided. Sarah was a great host and I would definitely stay there again.
We loved Pine Lodge. Perfect for 2 couples. It was quiet and convenient to all of the things we wanted to explore near Acadia. We especially liked the large kitchen and dining area. The fire pit was a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day. We explored Schoodic Peninsula and the Carriage roads. Dinner and service at Dry Dock was perfect…highly recommend .
This is a very special VRBO. The setting is peaceful, rustic, lovely with access to all that MDI and Acadia have to offer. The house was impeccably clean, well appointed and comfy —simple elegance, attention to little details that made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend…
We stayed a few days at Pine Lodge, followed by a few at a resort hotel in Bar Harbor. The stay at Pine Lodge was our favorite, and if were were to do it again, we'd stay there exclusively. It was so relaxing and quiet having coffee in the morning outside on the patio. Also just minutes away from great dining and lots of trail heads. The home is very nice, was very clean, and everything we needed and more. The laundry machine was a big help for us too since doing laundry meant we didn't need to overpack. The area is absolutely beautiful -- our first time there. Hopefully we'll be back one day, and if we are, I'll be checking to see if Pine Lodge is available before anywhere else.
The host thought of everything! Kitchen items, furniture, bath toiletries, outdoor space - including the grill and firepit. It was just a wonderful experience. To add to that - we had the pleasure of seeing wild turkeys and deer scamper through the property. The night sky is also brilliant from this location. It was a short ride to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We would highly recommend this house.
The house was clean and seems to have been built recently, as everything was new. There were plenty of amenities available and it was a smooth process from booking to check-in and check-out. Property owner was quick to respond. 5 out of 5 stars. Literally nothing to complain about, very impressive.
We stayed at this property last week. Check in was super easy. The home was beautifully decorated and spotless. This was the best experience I’ve had at any rental property. The home was well stocked with everything you could need. We even had some deer greet us one morning near the front yard. Owner is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend staying here!
This home is by far the most appointed and homey VRBO we have ever experienced. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time in Bar Harbor (thanks to the area information in the home) then coming home to rest, relax and enjoy sitting around the fire pit. The kitchen was so nice with everything we needed so we enjoyed a couple home cooked meals on the Blackstone and grilled on the fire pit. Sarah was always available with answers to our questions. We will for sure tell our friends and family traveling in the area about this extraordinary home. You will not go wrong staying in this home!!!! Thank you Sarah for making our stay so enjoyable.
Pine lodge was a perfectly located and perfectly appointed home. The owner was very easy to communicate with before the trip. The home was very clean. All possible items were available. Beds were comfortable and showers were clean and provided hot showers after our hikes.
I think what was the biggest selling point after our stay that it wasn’t in Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor is totally geared for the tourist. Southwest Harbor doesn’t have near the pressure and much more enjoyable. Plus it’s not far (15-20 min) from the most popular hikes. But it also has a great underrated hike (Beech Mtn) less than 8 minutes away!
Great location and great property.
We were very pleased with our stay, from check-in through check-out. Communication with the host was extremely prompt, which was very appreciated when there was a brief power outage. (Fyi, there were flashlights and instructions for how to check the staus of an outage, but we did not have cell service at the property to go online.)
The property was exactly as pictured and was very clean. It is in a very peaceful setting, with deer frequently spotted in the evenings. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms helped tremendously after a hot day of hiking. We were able to position the fan in the hallway, so as to blow some of the cooler air from the bedrooms into the main living areas.
Overall, we were very pleased and would love to stay there again if we are ever in the area!
The property was conveniently located from acadia national park and other great places for brunch and dinner. Would definitely recommened it for anyone traveling to the area!
We had an excellent stay at pine lodge. 15 minutes to everything in Acadia so very convenient for going out to see the park and for doing hikes in the area.
