"I stayed at this hotel for 12 nights while attending appointments at Mayo Clinic, and overall I had a comfortable stay. The location is excellent for Mayo patients, and the complimentary shuttle service made getting to and from my appointments easy and stress-free.
The room was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and pillows that made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after long days of medical appointments. I also appreciated the bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and lotion), as well as the complimentary drinking water, coffee, hot water station, and tea.
The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. The hot menu changed daily and included eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and other breakfast items. There was also oatmeal with toppings, a waffle maker, cereal, juice, and soy milk (although I would have appreciated an unsweetened option).
The location is another major advantage. Within walking distance are Star Ocean Buffet, TJ Maxx, and, just across the street behind the hotel, Apache Mall and Trader Joe’s. It was very convenient to pick up groceries and meals without needing to drive.
The guest laundry was excellent and accepted credit cards, which made doing laundry during a longer stay very easy.
Housekeeping was generally good. Rooms are serviced every other day unless additional service is requested, and the staff did a nice job keeping the room clean.
