"Cannot fault this place at all, it’s absolutely wonderful. Stayed for four nights. Staff were incredibly welcoming and smiley, on hand 24/7 to help with anything. Room was immaculate with everything you could need, air-con was a godsend! Lovely balcony to sit out on in the morning with a coffee. The pool area was fantastic, not the biggest but that made it more cosy, felt more like a private pool at times! It was really peaceful and quiet. "I was genuinely confused by the mixed reviews, so wasn’t sure whether to book, but I’m so glad I did The hotel was conceptually fascinating and a surreal experience. The village is literally the hotel, this declining village was rescued and converted. The staff were incredible. I think my room was upgraded for free because I got a better room than the one I paid for. A great experience and amazing pool and spa! I did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on that."
