Parking spaces available were too tight for my 8Seater rental. Noisy roofing at night as was on top floor. Apart from that it was a great experience.

The good stuff, the staff were very good, room was nice. The bad stuff The TV was too technical for both me and the wife, it needed to be paired with my phone which took me ages to work out, watched a little TV then went for a walk, the TV stopped working when I left the room as it was paired to my phone so the wife wasn't able to watch whilst I was out, came back and could not re pair with the phone after trying for 30min, I gave up and watched video's on my laptop. As a part-time pilot I find it easier to navigate into Wellington through thick cloud than navigate the TV system at Rydge's Hotel. Restaurant was nice but too upmarket for me, a main consists of the meat only, all sides on the plate are extras, so say a lamb main is say $50.00 then say two sides at $15.00 each makes just the main at $80.00, would have preferred to go down the road to the local pub for a meal and beer. Car parking is valet only and an extra $45.00 per day, asked for a car park when we booked in and told they would have to check if one was available, didn't know this when I booked the room online, would have been in the cart if one wasn't available as I needed to be at the Hospital first thing in the morning, it would have been very difficult if there wasn't a park I don't know what I would have done.

Amazing hotel and awesome staff

Very convenient. A little cramped with small bathroom. The body soap container had run out. However the staff responded very helpfully when told.
