"Maine is spectacular in mid-October. The Primrose Apartment was the perfect location to see the colorful leaves, visit lighthouses and enjoy all both Rockland and Camden have to offer. Alex and Siobhan were gracious, thoughtful and kind hosts. The view of Glen Cove from both the kitchen window and the deck is stunning. The Primrose was the perfect property and location for our stay."

"We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. The host was GREAT Alex told us stories and let us hear his “Alabama accent” LOL. I could’ve talked to him all day. We had a great trip and plan on coming back."

"We have been staying in the mid coast Maine area for vacation over the last decade and our family agreed that this house in Owl’s Head was the best of all. Every detail has been considered for guests and the house is light-filled, immaculate and comfortable. The location is perfect- we saw so much wildlife, kayaked every day, and had fantastic meals just down the road in Rockland (Ada’s is our favorite). Jen is a very responsive and accommodating host. Can we give it 10 stars??"

"We spent our family Thanksgiving here and it was great. The house is spotless and welcoming. The views over the water are perfect to wake up to. My only comment is that the fireplace was out of commission so if you’re renting in cold weather, you might want to know this. Other than that, the house is absolutely wonderful."

"Still the sweet quirky house that we have come to enjoy. We spent Christmas at this house and it was lovely. The living room and Kitchen are spacious and inviting. More lighting would help brighten the kitchen. Overall, this place works well for a convenient stay in Thomaston. Host was easy to communicate with and we will return in the very near future."

"This is the second time we have stayed at this house in Glen Cove. The house suits our family well, including our dogs. We found the house spotless when we entered it. The living space works well for the six of us including our young grandsons. And waking up to the view of Penobscot Bay each morning is worth every minute of our ride from New Jersey. "Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all."

"I traveled solo and it was the perfect respite. Check in is simple, Pilot welcomes you with a wagging tail and gives the grand tour. Having left my own furry friend at home, I was happy for his company. Furnishings are more updated than the photos show. I can't imagine anyone needing anything more than what this cottage provides. Mind your head when you climb the spiral staircase. I was grateful for the bluetooth speaker in the living room. This was a perfect solo stay, I'd recommend for couples...
