At Summit Crest Lodge, enjoy a private upstairs suite with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and a wireless printer.

You’ll also have free parking plus access to shared amenities, including the hot tub, gym, and BBQ grill—rare perks in South Russell. Shared amenities may be used by the host/other guests and availability can vary due to weather, cleaning, maintenance, or unexpected issues.

We’re not on-site 24/7, so immediate service or adjustments aren’t always possible.

Welcome to Summit Crest Lodge. This is a hosted home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we’ll do our best to take action as quickly as possible, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.

The hot tub, gym, and BBQ grill are shared amenities and may also be used by the host or other guests.

We do our best to keep them clean and in good working condition; however, availability is not guaranteed and may vary due to weather, cleaning, maintenance, or unexpected equipment issues. Because this is a hosted home and we are not on-site 24/7, immediate service or adjustments are not always possible.

If something isn’t working properly, please message us and we’ll do our best to assist as soon as we can.

Hot tub usage

Do not add anything to the hot tub or alter the water in any way (no soaps, bubbles, oils, fragrances, salts, food/drinks, or chemicals). Only the host/service provider may adjust water chemistry. Any tampering may result in loss of hot tub access, additional service/cleaning fees, and possible cancellation of the stay.

Doors & Locks

Please do not lock any exterior door handles (front or rear). Lock and unlock doors using the deadbolt/keypad only. Always pull doors firmly shut to ensure the deadbolt aligns and locks properly.

Spaces & Noise

Your stay includes the private upstairs suite only. The first floor is the host’s private living space and is not accessible to guests. Please be mindful of noise at all times, especially during quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Kitchen & Trash

Please clean up after use and dispose of trash properly. If the trash is full, place it in the pink curb bin. If the host is unavailable, please roll the bin to the curb on Tuesday evening for Wednesday pickup.

Bathroom

Please keep the clear shower liner inside the tub at all times to prevent water damage and leaks.

Laundry

Guest laundry is available for use between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM only.

Supplies

Extra household supplies (trash bags, paper products, etc.) are provided for use during your stay only. Please do not remove supplies from the property or use cleaning products excessively. Missing items or excessive use may result in replacement charges.

Winter Weather & Snow Removal

We do our best to keep the driveway and walkways clear using a snowblower. If we are away during heavy snowfall, a shovel will be available at the front or back door for guest use. Guests may use the snowblower located in the garage only with host permission. Access to the shed is not permitted.

Restricted Areas & Host Access

There is no guest access to the second-floor storage room across from the bathroom. The host may access that storage room as needed with notice. The host may access the first floor at any time in the event of an emergency.

Guests & Occupancy

Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property unless approved in advance. Additional guest fees may apply.

Garage Gym

The garage gym may be accessed using your provided code. Please wipe down equipment after use and respect quiet hours. Use of the gym is at your own risk.

Indoor Cat

An indoor cat lives on the first floor. If he accidentally slips upstairs, please message us so we can bring him back down.

Service Animals

Service animals must be declared prior to booking. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by animals.

Damage, Leaks, or Maintenance Issues

If you notice any damage, leaks, or maintenance concerns, please report them immediately so we can address the issue promptly and prevent further damage.

Liability

By booking, you acknowledge that the host is not responsible for injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.

Checkout & Extensions

Checkout is at the designated time. Any extensions must be approved and booked through Vrbo in advance.
