About this property

Ocean View of Beautiful Sunrises over the Gulf - Beach out the Back Door

  • I'm sitting on the couch typing this on my laptop, watching and listening to the waves out the large patio door.

    Or, I could walk a few steps onto the balcony that overlooks the ocean and see a beautiful courtyard with grills, pool and hot tub. The security gate off the courtyard takes you directly to the beach.

    Re-modeled kitchen with granite countertops, new backsplash and stainless appliances in December 2014.

    Both bathrooms upgraded in 2014 with walk-in shower in master bath (see pictures).

    Walking distance to many restaurants; some as close as a block a way. 'The Wave' is free public transportation that goes all over the island as well as over the bridge to Port Isabel that has a Wal-Mart SuperCenter and HEB for your shopping needs.

    Free WiFi in condo; Fully equipped kitchen.

Our location was excellent. Close to the beach and walking distance to several establishments. The condo clean but had trouble with TV in living room all week long. Also there was not toilet paper when we arrived. I understand you are responsible for this but a roll to start out with would be nice.

Great little weekend getaway

I was craving some sunshine and my husband found this cute place near the beach! It had a separate room with twin beds for our boys, a full kitchen and two bathrooms! The pool was amazing! Seriously the warmest pool we had ever been in! The location was perfect too! We were just a couple minutes from local attractions and many tasty restaurants. We can't wait to go back!!

Air conditioning was set on certain temperature even if we adjusted it went back to original temperature and felt hot at night. No kitchen trash bags left we had to get some. Location was great, we enjoyed our weekend getaway, however feel like the place is outdated with supplies needed to make it more comfortable and convenient stay.

Absolutely loved it!

The condo was exactly as described. Beautiful views. Everything you could need was there. Sooooo much better than staying in a hotel. The rooms were completely quiet, I don't think we ever heard another person while we were there. The staff at the condo was also very polite and attentive. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everyting. Nothing like getting up in the morning and sitting on the balcony with your coffee watching the sun come up. I would highly recommend anyone coming to SPI stay at this condo. Thank you so much to our hosts for a wonderful vacation!

Aquarius Condo SPI, TX

We had a great stay at the Aquarius condo on South Padre Island, Texas. Initially, there was a bit of confusion with a change to the check-in time. The Host was being kind by letting us in about 4 hours early, but the Condo wasn't quite ready as the staff was still cleaning when we got there. However, the staff worked very diligently to get the cleaning done. That said, we have no complaints. We found the Condo to suit our every need. The views from both balconies were awesome. We enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub. Having the ocean so close was amazing! We want to make special note of the Condo staff. Johnny and Pedro, and staff were very friendly, courteous, and very helpful when needed. You couldn't ask for a better group of people. We also found the other tenants to be friendly and informative. Thank you to all, including our Host, for a great visit. We want to come back! ;)
