  • New Listing! This Gulf view cannot be beat. A beautifully remodeled penthouse condo at Florence II is sure to make your beach trip a special one. Our huge private balcony overlooks the beach and has it's own hot tub and plenty of seating for your gathering. Florence II is a small building on the north side of the island that is just steps from the ocean.
    Pack light because this condo has everything you need for a relaxing time at South Padre.
    Fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels & beach towels.
    King bedroom with jetted tub in bathroom.
    Full bunk beds in 2nd bedroom. Walk in shower in 2nd bath.
    Washer & dryer in the condo.
    Condo has a reserved garage parking space.
    Gated pool area with heated pool and hot tub. The beach is just a short walk through the pool area.
    Florence II is a family-oriented complex. During Spring Break guests must be over age 25 or traveling as a family unit of parents with children. These dates change each year. Please reach out prior to booking if you need more info about dates.

Location was perfect, hot tub was a big plus and the condo itself was just the right size and amazing. The beds are super comfortable and the condo had everything you could need for cooking. Looking forward to returning.

The condo is beautiful with amazing views. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the hot tub was not clean and would not turn on and i received no response to email informing owners. If you do not care about hot tub then i highly recommend this condo.

The location of this condo was great- close to anything you'd want to get to but in a quiet area; right on the beach with great access; view was great; on the top floor so it was more private and had a hot tub (which was super hot). The kitchen was well-stocked. Just enough room to be comfortable and work yet still enjoy the beach views. However, the condo needs some work. There were obvious repairs that need to be done (cracks, paint, cabinets in bathrooms that weren't great), the deck area was not well kept. There's a light on the next bldg that shines into the living room which was quite annoying. Also, be aware that the only true dining space is on the hot tub deck. That would've been fine if it weren't incredibly windy all week. The only other eating space was the cramped island. It would be nice to have some seating on the balcony facing the ocean.

Great For 2 People

The hot water heater did not work and we had to take cold showers. The private hot tub which is one of the reasons we chose this place did not work. Shades for window was not put up. The second bedroom can only hold a bunk bed. very tiny. The location was great and the views very beautiful. This location was just updated and the kitchen was very nice. It just needed to be maintained better. Other minor thing that needed to be fixed and cleaned.
