    The Space:

    Mar y Sol II is a nice 8-plex located less than half a block to the beach. This ground-floor condo offers great value for the money and no steps to climb. The property includes 2 free off-street parking spaces.



    The kitchen is updated with granite and cabinets plus it opens to the breakfast bar and dining table with a view of the living room for easy family meals.



    The master bedroom has a queen bed with an en suite full bathroom for privacy. and the guest bedroom has 1 full bed and 1 twin bed . This bedroom is perfect for kiddos



    The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc. We provide linens and towels, and the unit is very clean and functional for families. Up to 8 people are allowed, including infants, due to fire code and the fact this is a 2-bedroom condo. There are 2 dedicated off-street free parking spaces marked, with golf carts considered in that vehicle count. This property is strict on no use of BBQ grills per the HOA, please note.



    The living room has a smart TV with Roku for streaming your favorite shows. There is also a small pull-out couch, perfect for another sleeping spot.



    The condo is ground floor with no stairs, and there is a small shared pool for tenants. The pool is not often crowded.



    There is a 2nd full bathroom in the hallway off the living room.



    The washer and dryer in the condo are very handy for wet suits, so you don't have to return home with a lot of laundry to do.



    While the condo isn't a penthouse with sweeping ocean views, it offers reasonably updated features, proximity to the beach, and the chance to create lasting memories at an affordable off-beach price (walk to the beach in 5 minutes max!).



    Don't hesitate to message us for advice on the Island or local attractions. We offer off-season discounts for stays of 3 or more nights from Sept 2 to Dec 20, and active-duty military discounts as well as tackle football coach specials. Please message us for details



    We provide completely contactless entry via our E-locks, or you can check in at our office as South Padre Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd, South Padre Island, TX 78597. We do provide basic toiletries, soaps, trash bags though not replenished nor unlimited so please plan accordingly.



    While we use the highest level of internet available, wifi connection on the island frequently goes out – please make sure you are aware of this as we cannot guarantee it – this is an Island 



    Please message us prior to booking to discuss the apartment if questions. We have a strict cancel policy and do not want disappointments. You must read and agree to ALL house rules before booking so we are all on the same page.



    We require a docusign e-sign rental agreement to maintain our short-term occupancy permit, including a photo ID. If you are under 25 years of age, please contact us prior to booking as you will be subjected to additional requirements and stipulations, and your reservation may not be accepted.

    During your stay, you will enjoy private access to our entire ground floor condo, ensuring a comfortable experience without the need for stairs. Your space includes a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a second bedroom for additional guests, a fully stocked kitchen, and a cozy living area. Outside of the condo, you are invited to enjoy the shared swimming pool located within the complex. Two free off street parking spaces are reserved for your vehicle needs. Please enjoy all the amenities provided within your private unit and the shared recreational spaces available on site.



    The Neighborhood:

    Our condo is situated in a fantastic location on South Padre Island, offering the perfect blend of convenience and coastal charm. You are less than a half block away from the beautiful sandy beaches, allowing you to walk to the ocean in under five minutes. The neighborhood is peaceful and family friendly, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. Within a short distance, you will find a variety of local dining options ranging from casual beachside cafes to fresh seafood restaurants. You are also close to various shops and island attractions, ensuring you have everything you need for a memorable vacation just moments from your front door.



    Getting Around:

    Getting around South Padre Island is easy and convenient from our location. We provide two dedicated off street parking spaces for your convenience, and please note that golf carts are counted as a vehicle in this total. For those arriving by air, the closest major airport is Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport, which is approximately a forty five minute drive from the condo. If you are exploring the island without a personal vehicle, the local Island Metro bus service offers free transportation throughout the area. Additional free parking can be found at the island intermodal bus station or near the post office if you have extra vehicles.



    Other Things to Note:

    Check in time is 3 pm and check out time is 11 am. Please note that we require a signed rental agreement and a copy of your photo identification prior to your arrival to comply with local short term rental regulations. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old unless prior arrangements have been made. Our maximum occupancy is 8 guests and this total includes all infants and children. We provide two dedicated off street parking spaces and please be aware that golf carts are counted as a vehicle in this limit. The property is strictly non smoking and parties are not permitted. Quiet hours are observed between 10 pm and 9 am. Please note that BBQ grills are not allowed on the property per the homeowners association rules. We provide a starter supply of basic toiletries and paper goods which are not replenished during your stay. Upon departure, please set the thermostat to 78 degrees, place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and dispose of all trash in the outdoor bins to avoid additional cleaning fees. While we offer high speed internet, please be aware that island connectivity can occasionally be intermittent.
