On the inside of the house you will walk into a completely wood built cabin containing a loft area that is accessed by a spiral staircase. The loft area was hand designed to be a peaceful getaway. Which we have to say, is the best part of the cabin!! The inside also contains a propane stove which will heat the entire home on its own, a fully functional bathroom, washer and dryer, kitchen, a fold out bed, and a large comfortable couch in the main living room. There is also a desk area in the second bedroom and one in the loft for those worker bees out there!
While there will not be service in the surrounding area due to how remote the property is, there is fiber-optic Wifi service! ensure to turn on WiFi-calling on your phone to connect to phone calls!
Guest access Guests have access to parking, hiking, kayaking, and most importantly relaxing! 30 minutes from Cooperstown and baseball tournament fields
Other things to note Come with stress and leave with inspiration and motivation! It is important for the body to decompress and getaway from the busy life we all live. My Fiance and I bought this cabin during the height of Covid-19 because we needed to get out of our apartment in the city! Enjoy it as much as we did, it truly is a gem in the upstate NY!

The house was clean, well lit at night, beautiful property, cozy inside, comfortable space to have a propane fire inside or light your own in the backyard. One of the nicest parts was waking up just before sunrise to look out on the property over a hilly, frost-covered view and hear only the sound of the wind, and the rustling of a few waking critters. It was also close enough for us to visit Binghamton (55 minutes), Cooperstown (45 minutes) and Oneonta (30 minutes); all of which are always great spots to see. Thanks Dave, it was a really nice time.
We loved our time at this cabin! We were in town for baseball so it was just three of us. The drive to All Star village was a little farther than we probably should’ve done (35min) but coming home and hanging out in the backyard with the fire pit and the view made it worth it. We used the grill several times and basically lived outside because the weather was so perfect. The house was clean add comfortable and stocked with everything we needed- from bug spray to sugar for my coffee. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. I would highly recommend!
The cabin looked as if it has had some nice updates inside with laminate flooring, carpeting and paint as well as newer kitchen area. It was decorated very nicely and was clean and comfortable. However, it is still a cabin in the country and retains its rustic feel. We spent most of the time at All Star Village which was about a 30 minute drive through beautiful rolling countryside and charming villages. If we had a booked for another day or 2, we would have been able to enjoy the deck, the fire pit and the yard!
We booked because our grandson was playing in Cooperstown All Star Village!!! Go Currituck Thunder for winning the monster bracket championship!! The drive back and forth to field wasn’t bad at all!! It was nice coming back in the evenings and feeling like you’re at home. House stocked nicely and host were awesome!! Let us in early and responded very quickly with any questions I had!! Thank you for sharing your home with us on such a special special week of baseball!!
Great. Easy and trouble free. Accommodations were spot on couldnt expect any more!

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
This Cabin earns 2 stars for the amazing view, property, and the cuteness of the A frame and loft. BUT it loses 3 stars because of its uncleanliness, lack of necessary items in the house, and it's false advertising about the bedrooms. When we arrived, we were so frustrated to find that the loft did not actually have a real bed in it, like advertised. Instead it had a very small pullout couch and an air mattress. The whole reason we booked this venue was to wake up in the loft on Christmas morning. The actual bed had been moved to the laundry room, which wasn't even shown in the listing's photos. It was not an ideal location and the window behind the bed was covered with a black trash bag. The listing also said that the couch in the living room was a pullout, it was not. It was also not comfortable. We ended up putting the air mattress in the living room just to watch TV on. The kitchen barely had any of the amenities it needed to cook in. There was no salt and pepper, there were only 3 plates and a couple cups and mugs, and like 3 bowls. It was fine for just the two of us, but not enough if you had 4 people staying there, which the listing says can accommodate 5 people. There were also no baking sheets, so I wasnt able to use the oven like I had intended, and no oven mitts. The house was dirty. Bugs in the sliding door track, dust everywhere, gnats over the shower ceiling, and the shower was disgusting. The house just didn't feel very clean. Cute house but disappointing
We rented this property while my son played a baseball tournament in Cooperstown! It was adorable and it was a nice retreat after a long day of baseball…about 28 minutes from all star village but so worth it! The views are spectacular and the night sky is magical. The house manager was very nice and accommodating… highly recommended this property!
The cabin was lovely and cozy. It is remote and the perfect getaway. We enjoyed the fireplace and comfy bed. We brought groceries with us and were able to make delicious meals with the cookware provided. I would definitely love to return in the summertime to be able to take advantage of the porch and yard. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and tranquil getaway.
