South Kingstown Apart Hotels

"I was happily surprised with our two night stay at the Hampton Inn. The faculty was located in a parking lot within walking distance to some restaurants and a brewery which my husband and I visited one night. The girl working the front desk was polite and greeted us immediately upon our arrival (around 8:30pm). Check in was easy and quick. The room itself was clean, the beds were comfortable (pillows a bit soft for my liking, but still comfortable). The shower pressure was great and the bathroom was clean. I used the gym one day and was again pleasantly surprised to see a Peloton bike along with two treadmills, another bike, and an elliptical machine. There were also lots of weights. One of the treadmills was out of order, but the gym was overall very nice. I did not get to use the pool, but the pool area looked very nice. The lobby was large with plenty of seating and the free breakfast was delicious. Many options, chocolate and vanilla waffles, omelette, sausage (which was so good) and breakfast potatoes. Lots of other standard options as well. We came to visit URI for a tour and the hotel was within 15 minutes to the school. Close to other beach areas as well and to our new favorite coffee place Java Madness. We will definitely be back to this hotel. "

"Everything was perfect, it was exactly as described in the listing. The house has everything you will need, the breath taking views, the PEACE and QUIET, the low maintenance of the house, (no anxiety/worries about having 6 adults and 2 children and a dog and it not being your house.) NO interference from the homeowner, so if we had to use one word…PERFECT"

"This home is absolutely perfect. The location is convenient: walking distance to the beach and phenomenal restaurants, a short drive to Wakefield and Newport, and yet secluded enough to feel private and quiet. The home itself is well-appointed with everything you could need or want. The beds are cozy and the furniture is ideal for relaxing and taking in the stunning views of the wetlands. Everything from the door knobs to the appliances to the linens speaks of exceptional quality and attention to detail. Our kids loved running to the beach, taking the wa'a (kayak) out exploring the ponds, and playing on the huge deck. My husband enjoyed the gas grill and the gorgeous and unobstructed views of the sunrise. All in all, this was a perfect place for us to call home for a short while.
