We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse in South Haven, Michigan for a long weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. The home is over 100 years old, but has been wonderfully restored and decorated with so much charm. It’s both historic and cozy, with comfortable beds, well-appointed spaces, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.I traveled with my husband, his two sisters, and one of their husbands, and the farmhouse was the perfect fit for our group. The common areas were warm and welcoming—great for gathering and catching up. The property was peaceful, and yet just a short drive from South Haven’s beaches. We kicked off our trip with a breathtaking sunset cruise on Lake Michigan, and it only got better from there. We enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants, and even took a day trip to explore the Meijer Botanical Gardens and the Gerald R. Ford Museum. One unexpected highlight: the blueberry field right on the property! My sister-in-law spent quite a bit of time there and absolutely loved it.Cam and Katelyn, the owners, were on site for a couple of days during our stay and took the time to introduce themselves. They were incredibly welcoming and clearly take great pride in creating a special experience for their guests. This farmhouse offered the perfect mix of tranquility, comfort, and convenience. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable escape.
