We love this area and this cabin is tucked away in a perfect spot. Secluded but easy access to the ski area and South Fork. This is the second time staying at these cabins and we just absolutely love it.

Truly one of the best cabins for families
This is my family’s second cabin trip here and we absolutely love it. It has it all! River side, hot tub on porch, outdoor furniture and grill private porch area. Super spacious truly meets all of our needs as a family!
It was lovely we hiked a lot , Pagosa Hot Springs did a little tubing down the Rio Grande!
Did a fair amount of hot tubbing in the evening. It’s a beautiful area with lots to do!
The cabin was nicely, nestled and felt very private.
Everything was perfect. It was very clean and private feeling. The hot tub was great after a long ski day. Great location in between South Fork and ski area and a short drive to Pagosa. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect hideaway
This cabin was perfect for a little getaway in summer. We had a wonderful time at coyote. Every day we would go to the river and enjoy. One of our boys even caught a couple fish. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back.
Cabin is secluded in the trees and next to the river! Has all the amenities you need. Only “complaint” we had about the stay was the chair and loveseat were well worn.

Gorgeous Location, Quiet, Hot Tub Relaxing & Private.
The cabin structure is gorgeous. A full size kitchen plus laundry is always a plus when traveling. The cabin's location is quiet and private. The furniture and mattress are in need of replacement and the cabin needed a good cleaning. Plenty of texts to keep me informed on check-in and out. Willing to give it a try next time we travel through to see if clean and updated.

Honeymoon Stay
It was a little cabin in the woods. The lake pictured only had moss growing... no fish. Initially the hot tub was dirty but the team responded quickly and got it cleaned. Lots of hummingbirds, which was amazing

Coyote Cabin getaway
The location of this cabin is excellent, about 9 miles outside of South Fork and just shy of Big Meadow and Shaw Lakes, nestled along the bank of Beaver Creek. It is a private and isolated setting, the perfect spot for a mountain getaway.
Although not plush, the cabin is furnished with enough dishes and utensils for good meals (helpful due to limited dining opportunities in South Fork), plentiful towels and hot water, and gorgeous scenery from the hot tub vista.
Our highlight of this trip was the fact that Beaver Creek cuts through the property and one can fly fish just a few yards from the cabin! And we caught trout! What a joy.
Our favorite part of this cabin is how close it is to Wolf Creek Ski. It’s maybe a 10-15 minute easy drive. The hot tub was warm and ready when we got there. The beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint is that the master bedroom was very cold. There isn’t central heating, so it took a while for the cabin to warm and the master bedroom is tucked away from the sources of heat, so it was a bit chilly. The loft upstairs was warm. Our cabin also did not have the name of the cabin posted (at least not obviously visible) so it was hard to find our cabin when we arrived after dark. Overall, I would stay again. Be aware that the closest town, South Fork, has very few food/shopping options and everything closes by 8:00.
Nice cabin but this was by far the least convenient rental experience I’ve had. It appears as though no one checked the property prior to our arrival. The heat was off (it was 8 outside) and only 49 inside after running the one working heater for 12 hours it only reached 57 inside. Pretty uncomfortable the entire stay. The electronic door lock was dead, so we could not check in without calling someone to give us access to the physical keys. They texted me about 10 times while I’m on vacation about the rental. The microwave is broken, two out of three heaters are broken… onto the good. It’s a nice cabin, with a good location, it was clean and hot tub was nice. Sucks they didn’t take care to prepare it properly so we could have a comfortable temperature inside

Great family getaway.
Loved the property and all that came with it. Very quaint and clean. Loved the opportunity to fish, relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Cabin is nice , master bed is pitiful, mattress and sheets were way too old, shade in kitchen is damaged from previous tenants, cabin is nice , needs updates for price they are asking

Quiet Retreat
The cabin was very clean and perfect for a family getaway. Lots of public land around makes this a great spot to call home for a few days.
We have stayed here a few times and it’s always nice. The only downside this time was when we arrived the cabin smelled horribly strong of some sort of cleaner. It gave us all headaches and made our eyes water. The hot tub was also dirty at the bottom but other than that it was great.

Nice place once you find it. Dangerous access off a busy state highway without road signs. Dicey every time
We turned in and pure danger as we searched for the road sign that did not exist. Can be a nice place but several minor things have to be done first to make it worthy of a revisit.
