Everything was is great working order from what I could tell and the house was very clean when we first arrived. I thought the check-in and check-out process was very easy and I really appreciated this especially.
Excellent location! Beautiful and very comfortable!
The instructions for locking and unlocking front door needs to be a little more clear.
Thank you very much for a lovely stay! Would definitely come back!

South Fork Summer
This property was pretty much as described.
It is a bit dated, that didn’t have an effect on our stay.
Beds were comfortable, pillows could be replaced, as they were fairly flat.
We appreciated the kitchen supplies, as we like to cook. We were frustrated to find the ice maker wasn’t working. There was 2 ice cube trays, but seriously, it’s summer and hot and we never had enough ice!
The code for the door did not work, even after a reset and a battery change. Not sure what that was about.
We like to come to SF in the summer and I’m sure that we will return.
Excellent home- perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and spacious place to stay!

Nice location
House is comfortable, but could use some updates and adjustments. We had trouble with bears raiding the trash.

What an AMAZING cabin.
This was our first visit to Southfork. The cabin couldn’t have been more perfect for or family! The views were incredible and the cabin was beautiful! Everything was organized and so the information left for visitors was perfect. We would definitely return to the quaint cabin on the river!
This property is so serene and beautiful! The cabin came fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some! We will definitely be booking this cabin again!
This was the perfect cabin for our family of 6. Kitchen was well stocked, close to grocery store, and easy drive to Wolf Creek.
A few things need to be fixed: upstairs shower door needs to be replaced ASAP, upstairs right side sink is not draining, dishwasher door falls down when opening, pillows could use an upgrade.
We would recommend this place just needs some maintenance.
We love this cabin! It was extremely clean and well furnished with everything listed in the description. I had to work some and the wifi was stable. The back porch and yard are absolutely charming! It has a wrap around porch with plenty of seating areas including a fire pit and table and chairs. I had a question about disposing of the trash safely (bears) and VRBO answered promptly and followed up. We will absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Setting
Riverside Retreat is a small piece of heaven right on the Rio Grande. There is not a more beautiful view than sitting on the porch watching the river go by. The cabin itself was perfect for four adults and two kids. The beds were comfortable, and it was clean, spacious, and well-supplied with what we needed. The hummingbirds were entertaining while we sat on the porch listening to the rippling of the river. Early one morning a deer slowly walked around the house while we sat on the porch. The best part was watching a moose across the river for a whole day and again the last morning we were there. We never expected to have the opportunity to see that! There's no doubt we will be back to Riverside Retreat!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Poor communication
Property was nice and clean, but instructions for wifi were not to be found. Despite constant messages to the property manager, no response for getting a wifi password. Further, the property is listed as having cable TV. It does not, it has an $89 off brand tv that only gets Netflix with no ability to download mainstream apps like ESPN or YouTubetv.

Great!
Cozy cabin with a great location. Close to many riding trails. Beautiful scenery to enjoy on the back covered porch. House has everything one could want or need. Would definitely stay there again.
Cozy cabin with nice kitchen and laundry area. Especially nice outdoor area with a great yard. Only issue is that there is not a bear proof trash can which is a problem since there is a bear in the area. Trash was definitely a problem. Perfect for 4 or 5 adults.
Very comfortable & cozy cabin with plenty of room & a great back porch. Great variety of wonderful activities close by... hiking, exploring old mines, horseback riding, etc. Our family had a great stay!
Great property with a cozy fireplace. Lots of wildlife right in the yard. Easy access to Wolf Creek for skiing. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable home
The home was comfortable for 5-6 people, but would be crowded with any more. Good location, and very nice back porch.

Arrowhead Cabin
Our family had a wonderful week in Arrowhead Cabin. We were very comfortable, since it was snowing so much we spent a lot of time indoors. The WiFi worked great, which was needed for work and school. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and seeing all the wildlife. Deer, wild turkeys, rabbits! And we managed to ski a few days at Wolf Creek which is a great family friendly mountain. We would definitely stay here again!
