Loved the animal feeding tour and the art installations in unexpected places. Appreciated all the facilities available to guests, such as the trails, hammock and kayaks. The boats and gear would benefit from a bit more care.

Lovely property in the Marlborough Sounds, the views were exceptional with friendly and helpful staff.

Antares Homestay is a gem in the heart of the Marlborough wine country. The inn keeper Mandy is wonderful and focused on making guests feel like family. She greeted us and provided a tour of the property and amenities. We stayed in the blue room which was large and quiet. Options for either A/C or enjoying the breezes from the gardens and vineyards. The queen size bed was super comfy. Breakfast was freshly baked croissants, fruit, yoghurt, granola and eggs cooked to order if desired. The B&B had a small kitchen with appliances and fridge for some snacks that we had purchased. The gardens and ponds encourage exploring and walking with a glass of local wine. We also used bikes that were available to explore some of the nearby wineries. We plan to be back in New Zealand in the next year or so and will definitely stay here again! So many wineries to check out, but one that was fantastic and right across the street is Hans Herzog. Highly recommend booking a wine tasting there.

Very convenient location, with friendly and helpful staff. Room was a bit dated but functional and more than adequate for a one night stay.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean, comfortable and homely and the gardens and animals were just delightful. We had our first stargazing opportunity here as bad weather had put pay to our plans in all dark sky areas. We had a wonderful and memorable experience at The Jolly Poacher.
