Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Beautiful venue but a car rental really helps as it’s a little isolated. Great treatments at the spa. The grandchildren loved the kids club, Jamala ensured they had a great time under her careful supervision. We did find the food and drinks quite expensive but good quality.

Very nice and clean accommodation with a beautiful pool near the airport. The owners and their son are very helpful, drove me from and to the airport. Not much nearby but I only stayed one night while I was waiting for a flight so it was completely fine.

Taxi drivers are on a bit of a scam Health and safety is no very well monitored

Very nice location - loved the hike. Rooms are quite small but will do for a night or two. The food is great at dinners but very poor breakfasts. They can cook some eggs and the rest from the buffet: yogurt, tasteless bread, some cheese and musli - that’s it. Overall a nice stay but no more than 2 nights

Absolutely one of the ultimate experiences in my life. Witn Le Mourne mountain as backdrop trough out your stay and round the corner access to hiking trail to scale Le Mourne with breathtaking views. Swim to bar with the nicest and coolest bar staff imaginable An absolute must do. All eating facilities simplify outstanding.

Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful. The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended. We stayed at this wonderful resort for a night last week- definitely not long enough. Everything was perfect. Exceptionally good and friendly service from everyone. The resort is at one end of the beach with its own bay. It felt very exclusive. Would love to go back one day.

This is a beautiful property on the beachfront. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Food plentiful and delicious and nightly entertainment available but alternative eating venue available if a quiet meal wanted. Bus and taxis available and small supermarket and shops in walking distance. Only small difficulty was that they were not terribly familiar with Australian currency so difficult to change money on site and taxi drivers only accepted cash

Auberge de Saladier is a friendly, safe and comfortable guest house in downtown Mahebourg. The hosts Younoos and Jill were extremely friendly and helpful and a good source of information about Mauritius and the local area. It's a very relaxing environment to base yourself while spending a few days exploring Mahebourg

The hotel is in a quiet street, but within walking distance to the bus station and the main shopping area of Mahebourg. While the architecture is odd in places (part of the appeal), and the street front not particularly appealing, there are great views from the roof terrace and across to Lion Mountain. The location was very central and the bus stop just opposite to the property made everything easy. The owners were very kind and made my stay a comfortable one. It was difficult to find the property, but it is bang on top of the KFC. I would advise the management to have a few bold sign posts leading up to the property which will help find the place easily. Staying for our honeymoon we were looked after from the moment we arrived. The staff were quite responsive and assisted where requested. We were often approached for any assistance. Our villa was directly opposite the beach with direct views of the water. (This although beautiful did not provide much privacy for our personal time.) Dining experiences were great although a standard bottle of wine usually AUD30 was inflated to approx AUD120! A 400% increase!! That was a joke. Water at breakfast...
