"A stopover in Avignon and what a magnificent discovery with its charming old town dominated by such an immense and important historic relic of the Palais des Papes, all the more pleasant to explore in this in-between-tourist-inflows season with its so beautiful weather! And especially staying in this gem of an elegant ground floor apartment with a private terrace overlooking a very flowery and quiet garden - a perfect place to relax after a day's program and to reflect upon... "Convenient place just off the motorway. We struggled to find some where to eat in the area. The room was very small and the bathroom tiny. The bed was comfortable.
The decor is a bit dingy. Just a cheap stopover place with no frills. "

"La chambre est spacieuse, le prix est correct. C'est un style RB&B, c'était ma premier fois et ça c'est plutôt bien déroulé pour accéder a la chambre. Les explications sont claire"

"Great location. Unfortunately there is no elevator and our room was up 3 flights of stairs with luggage a challenge.
Breakfast was great with Nespresso coffee.
Easy to walk entire Avignon sites. Frederick gave us excellent info on what to see and where to eat.
Charming Boutique hotel although the streets cape next to a Tattoo parlour was a bit off putting . However only one block to main shopping street with lots of restaurants nearby. Modernized clean room. Overlooked a brick wall- go for...

"Hôtel d’Europe is a beautiful, historic property ideally located within the walls of Avignon, just steps from the Palais des Papes. The location is ideal for exploring the city, with everything easily accessible on foot.
The staff truly stands out. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and welcoming, creating a level of service that elevates the entire experience. The hotel embraces its history, offering classic charm while still providing thoughtful modern comforts.
While I did not dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant, having that level of dining available on-site is a great feature for guests who want that experience without leaving the hotel.
The bar is excellent and was a highlight of the stay. The bartenders were engaging, skilled, and clearly take pride in what they do.
The rooms are well-appointed with all the expected amenities—coffee, tea, robes, and a full range of bath essentials—making for a comfortable stay.
The only drawback was a significant issue on the first night: there was no hot water, and the shower was freezing. After a long day of travel, this was not a great way to start the stay.
Overall, Hôtel d’Europe delivers on service, location, and atmosphere, with one notable issue that impacted the first impression."
"Perfect location. Great price. Very happy!
The room was small and lacked a refrigerator and microwave. Clean and in proper working order, just small. The bathroom was great, again, small. Perfect shower.

"Weirdest hotel layout ever. No sockets to charge my phone in the entire room. No air conditioning. No WiFi. Avignon is great but there’s probably better deals in the area. They are wearing suits but it slept like a French motel 6. "
"Great choice of hotel. It is located in the very center of Avignon where bars and restaurants are. It is a pleasant walk to explore the city and its heritage. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. We stayed in March. The hotel rate is exceptionally good for what we got. "
