The villa has a fantastic location with magnificent views over the Port. The walk down hill to the Port takes only 5 mins, however coming back it's very steep and I would highly recommend hiring a car or a taxi costs 6/7 euros.
The villa itself is very clean and well maintained. The pool area gets the sun around lunch time right through to early evening (august). From the balcony you can watch the sun set and is truly wonderful. The villa is very well equipped, more than any other I have previously stayed in. Plenty of towels both bath and pool, large jar of coffee pods, a bottle of champagne, large bottles of water, olive oil, bags of BBQ charcoal and other items were very much appreciated. The owner even brought us pastries for breakfast one morning. He is very friendly and helpful as was Anna from the management company.
I would not hesitate to recommend this villa, you just need to bare in mind the 3rd bedroom has a separate entrance underneath the balcony which could be a problem if staying with young children.
Port Soller itself has some wonderful restaurants and bars. Its the third time we have been to the resort with children aged 12 and 15 years. The children can have some independence without being too far away. The people are welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this resort for couples and families.
