There are not enough superlatives to describe this property. It needs a 5+ star rating. This is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed just based on facilities, amenities, and staff. Then add that it's in a fairy tale setting on the side of a mountain. Just wow.
All round Fantastic hotel - no wonder it’s part of the leading hotels of the world group.
The only good thing about this hotel is where you store your skis and the staff helping you with your boots. This hotel charged me twice for our stay and blamed me that Expedia hadn’t given them the money. They charged my credit card €5000 without my consent. They charged me for a ski lesson I did not have and refused to take the charge off our account as I had no proof I cancelled it. The Japanese restaurant was a joke. Staff useless and food below average. Rooms boiling.
This is really one of kind hotel. Our visit was during the summer time but I did have a view of the mountains and can only imagine what is would be like during the winter season. Accommodations are fantastic they need to extend spa hours. Our bar tender (Markel) was very attentive and made our stay really fun. I would go back just for the drinks.
