"Der Vermieter war super freundlich und der Kontakt war unkompliziert. Der Ausblick ist sehr toll, absolut toller Weitblick.Das Haus selber ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein paar Räumlichkeiten und Möbel gehören erneuert.Durch den Hauptwohnbereich sind lediglich zwei der Zimmer mit Bäder erreichbar. Um zu den weiteren Zimmern im oberen Stockwerk zu gelangen muss man außerhalb der Hauses lang. Dies ist bei schlechtem Wetter oder beim reisen mit Kindern sehr ungeschickt. Ein zusätzliches...

Allerdings empfanden wir den Preis von 160 pro Nacht im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in der Region als hoch, insbesondere angesichts des Zustands und der Ausstattung. "Amazing location, could not fault that! Positives- location, outside bar area, nice clean rooms, comfy bed, room air con was good. Nice breakfast. Great swimming pool, lots of inflatables and balls. Laid back staffs Decent entertainment Negatives - terrible wifi. No air con in any other communal area which surprised us! Very little information about available food or snacks from the bar or restaurant, no idea how the restaurant worked, seemed to be just one main course on offer each evening which seemed strange for such a big restaurant.. we were under the impression that no food was available in the daytime until we happened to see people eating lunch from the bar on our final day, we had no idea they served food, no menus were obvious.. it’s a pain if you are using the pool area and want a drink or ice cream from the bar as you have to come all the way out of the pool area which is a bit of an effort. Drinks, especially soft drinks were expensive No fridge in bedrooms which was hard going when the weather was incredibly hot and humid. This would be a great addition. Breakfast was good but distinct lack of fruit (some apples and bananas) but would have been great to have some sliced watermelon or pineapple Also some sliced tomato would have been good We were surprised when we checked out by car parking charges of over €90 for the week- we had checked in very late but were not told about these at the time, I even emailed the hotel before we arrived to ask but no repl"

"Room was spotless, cleaned everyday, Wonderful location for old town and the beach with an excellent wine bar and restaurant in a 1 minute walk. Very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. At first I thought why the pink colour scheme in the bedroom.. then swimming in the bay, looking at Menton Old Town, the penny dropped!! Breakfast was good and lots of choice - travelled many times in France and getting a good coffee and Orange juice is often a struggle, so a big thumbs up for that. Yogurt on tap was novel! Thanks for a great stay .. don’t often leave reviews but thought it worthy."

"Our second stay at Villa Genesis was just as wonderful as the first, and we honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely cared for. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to make your stay special. A very special thank you to Daniel, who looked after us so wonderfully this year and last year. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth are a big reason why we love coming back. We also had the pleasure of dining at the new restaurant opposite, Regina, and it was absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and our host Marco made the evening unforgettable. He was funny, friendly, attentive, and so easy to chat with—it felt like dining with an old friend while receiving first-class service. Villa Genesis is one of those rare places that combines beautiful accommodation with truly exceptional hospitality. We are already looking forward to returning again. Thank you to everyone for another unforgettable stay!"

"Great staff and location, but needs upkeep. The Good: Fantastic location and lovely, helpful staff. Facilities: The property is in need of maintenance. Only having one lift causes noticeable delays. Breakfast: Needs serious improvement. It’s a shame to be in the land of wonderful bread, cheese, charcuterie, and lemons, yet find none of them on the table. The Garden: A lovely space overall, though the siren sculpture is an unfortunate eyesore."
